Cobb Police Department is the primary full-service law enforcement agency in unincorporated Cobb County. We are not responsible for prisoner detention inside the jail, so if you are interested in working in that career field, please consider contacting the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, which offers the same hourly pay and similar benefits.
We also do not have officers working as dispatchers at our 911 center, but they also have positions available if you’re interested in being a dispatcher or 911 call taker.
The positions Cobb Police offers for new hires are full-service road positions in a police car responding to 911 calls, engaging in community policing efforts, and conducting proactive police work.
If a position as a full-service patrol officer with Cobb County Police Department with the above incentives and opportunity for career advancement in law enforcement appeals to you, visit joincobbpolice.com and start the application process.
