This handsome full-breed Lab is looking for his perfect match! 💙 Moose will be one year old on March 30th, and he’s as classic a Labrador as they come—obsessed with fetch, eager to learn, and full of love.

Here is some information from his foster home: 

Moose is house-trained & smart – He shows excellent signs of being eager to learn. He knows sit, drop, and walks well on a leash. He also has a good recall. Highly food-motivated which will help with teaching him more skills and tricks. 

Playful & Sweet – Fetch, tug, and being by your side are his favorite things. He has a sweet personality and is great with kids and other dogs. Not sure about cats as he has never been around them to the foster's knowledge. 

Moose shows some minor signs of separation anxiety, likely from long hours in a crate in his previous home. With reassurance and time, he’ll gain the confidence he needs! With only a few days at his foster home - he is already showing signs of relaxing and being less anxious. 

Moose is not neutered yet, but was given his puppy vaccines. As mentioned before, he is a full-breed lab and has the application to become akc certified.

“Frank's story begins with unimaginable cruelty. Beaten, abandoned, and left to suffer, he came to us with both physical and emotional scars. We’ve been working through the trauma he endured for a few months now, and he is progressing in his training. He is looking for a home that is familiar with the breed, will continue his training (his first year will be paid for), and will be patient as he learns to trust humans again. 

We are not sure how he is with other dogs, he will be tested further along in his training, for now he would do best as the only dog, with no young children. He is sweet, playful and just wants love. He is house broke, and loves his walks - he is great on a leash."
