When Rocky gets dropped off for daycare, he knows exactly what to do. He hops out of his Mom's car and runs right to our front door. He peeks in the windows, waiting for one of us to open the door for him. When he gets inside, he runs straight out to the play yard to look for his friends! Love this guy! ♡

In October of 2010, we adopted our dog Ofi from the Humane Society (original name, Coach). He was approximately 5 months old and full of energy. He liked to herd us around our apartment if we were walking faster than a snail’s pace (especially Jackie), so we started studying dog training to help manage some of the challenges that we were
experiencing. Ofi was an Australian Shepherd/Rottweiler Mix with black and white spots on his coat. The kids in our neighborhood, at the time, called him a hyena. 😊 We walked him twice a day, morning and night. We walked him so much that we started talking about walking dogs for a living. Jackie started a dog walking business in 2011 that
eventually morphed into Nature of the Dog, all because of our wonderful little Humane Society dog named Ofi. A couple of weeks ago, we had to say goodbye to our sweet friend. Ofi lived to be 14. We will never forget our little buddy, and we are so thankful for the impression he has left on our lives and in our hearts. ♡

Happy Holidays from the staff at ! We once again take a moment to reflect on this past year and are so grateful for our wonderful clients and their fantastic dogs. We get to do what we love every single day, with the best staff, and that is truly a gift.
