For those of you worried your horses might be cold, they weren't in a real hurry to come in tonight.

Every barn owner ever...
"You must make SO much money boarding! You charge HOW much? And you have HOW many horses there?"
"Yup, sure do...." rolls eyes as I spend "all that money" on a load of gravel for drainage projects.
You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. It's always good to have a friend you can count on.
Busy weekend of summer prep - pastures mowed, closed motor fans put up in stalls, more winter blankets washed, and other miscellaneous prep work. This guy hung out for a bit while I mowed a back pasture.
Addie and I had a great time at a clinic this weekend learning about overcoming fear with your horse. We saw road flares, smoke bombs and other "scary things," but this was by far the scariest for all the horses. I think we need to get some of these machines for the barn. :)
I'm terrible at getting photos, but we always love when Heather Walters comes for a visit! Miss Addie has had a lot of the winter off (I'd love to say it was solely to let her mature more, but there was a lack of desire on my part to be cold as well), but she picked back up where we left off. I am motivated to get in a regular schedule with her!
When you're well over 30, you have to get all the itches out on a nice day.
Volume up to enjoy the sounds this happy boy makes after a good roll on this sunny morning. A few more videos are in the comments.
Our two oldest residents playing around this morning. These esteemed gents are very close to or over 3 decades each.
