🐾 PRICE INCREASE 🐾

It’s that time of year where businesses are forced to crunch numbers and refer to our books to see the next best course of action.
It’s also the time we dread as we just want to keep our loyal clients happy
BUT
We have no choice but to revamp our prices and services to ensure we can keep caring for your fur babies.

Starting immediately there will be a small increase for current clients but ALL new clients will be on our new price list as of now. The new price list and special packages will be up by end of week. If any current clients want a package it will be under new prices.

We understand the cost of living is hard at the moment but these changes are needed to save our business from closing.

Equiqment servicing, replacing blades/scissors, and shampoos /products have skyrocketed (with no significant price rise to clients!)

So please understand this is stressful for us to do but we want to be able to continue grooming your beautiful fur babies 🐾

Happy Sunday everyone! Have you noticed a little extra fur dust bunnies around and have you been wondering what you should do to keep shedding down?🤔
We’ve been requested frequently to shave double coated dogs so I figured it’d be best to make an informative post about the cons of shaving a double coated dog!
•Removing protection: A double coat protects dogs from the elements, including temperature, parasites, sun damage, and wind.
•Damaging the coat: Shaving can damage the coat and prevent it from growing back properly. The undercoat may grow back faster than the guard hairs, which can change the coat's color and texture, making it look patchy. In severe cases, the topcoat may not grow back at all in some spots, causing permanent bald spots or alopecia.
•Other issues: Shaved coats may be more likely to mat, and the dog will still shed but in smaller pieces.

So you might ask.. if I shouldn’t shave my pup what should I do?
• We offer a special grooming package for all of our fluffy friends. Maintaining a regular bath maintenance is key and will be your best option to reduce shedding.
What all does a de-shed Intel?
•In order to get the best results we use a high velocity dryer before the bath to help loosen up any impacted hair to allow our special shampoo to reach the skin for the best results. After the bath, we use the velocity dryer to dry your pup all the way to remove excess hair loosened up from the shampoo! But we don’t just stop there, we proceed to brush your pup for 15 minutes to help remove any hair missed by our previous steps.
