We are a no smoking/vaping facility that does not allow dogs on the property. In Unison Farm LLC has these amenities: 12x12 stalls, 2 H/C wash racks, a temp. controlled tack room and bathroom with a shower, outdoor arena, stadium jumps, some cross country fences, and miles of trails. ard is $800 and pasture is $475 a month. The barn is run by Lee Ann Gilson, who is an A graduate from the United States Pony Club. She is an Eventer and has been riding for over 40 years. Lee Ann offers Dressage and jumping lessons on riders own horses, however, outside trainers are welcome. Lee Ann is a certified instructor with USEA for Level II - Training

Plentiful hay in the pastures, ice broken, horses double blanketed for those that can/ need to be and happily turned out . The west end door is staying closed today to block the wind and protect that spigot by stall 1 but you can get in the barn through the east end or the door by the wash racks. The water is turned off to the wash racks. Bathroom and aisle spigots still work.

Boarders I am watching the forecast closely for Friday to decide if the stalled horses get turned out or stay in for the day. Right now I am leaning towards having them stay in considering it could be a slushy icy mess.

I knew there was a marked difference when I would walk in the closed up barn when it was cold outside but I bought a thermometer to hang in the barn yesterday, which gave me two thermometers because the clock has one as well for accurate read outs in the barn. I am happy to report that this barn is so well-built that there was a 20° difference this morning. 26° outside and 46° in the barn when I walked in.  I was lucky to get a 5 to 10° difference at the old location.

And just like that summer is over and we prepare for the winter months. Horses got switched to day turnout today.

With hunting season upon us if anyone is wanting to walk the trails (mounted or on foot) please put on one of the three vests that Jeff and Danielle provided. Better safe than sorry. They are hanging on the bathroom doorknob in the tack room.
