😊😊💥💥💥💥No cases of odd respiratory illness in dogs in Western MA. Be cautious though as people travel w their dogs. NO cases in Carolinas or Georgia. So far Midwest has most states w the disease. Total of 14 states have cases of it.
First sign is cough. If you notice a cough..GET TO VET PRONTO.
🤭🤭 Maybe avoid dog parks and dog day dares and dog parks. 🙏Better safe than sorry till the veterinarians figure this odd sickness out.🌈☔️💧🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐈🐕🐈🐕🐕🐕

WHO IS GOT SPOTS ETC?

I am affiliated with Peggy , director SPCA Tarboro NC. Our mission is to save adoptable dogs and move them to forever homes. All dogs move from kill shelter to NC Veterinary clinic to foster or veterinary boarding. They then are flown to MA where they are quarantined for 48 hours and reside at Got Spots or approved foster home until the appropriate forever home is secured.

Kathy, owner of Got Spots , has been an RN for over 30 years and has been doing rescue for over 20 years. She has used her dogs for therapy work as well as promoting optimal wellness thru the human animal bond. She has done research on that topic and has written a column on that in a regional magazine titled Animal Life.
