This is why I keep telling people. DONOT USE ROVER!! OR ANY OTHER DOG WALKING APP.
Interview walking companies in your area and make sure they are insured, bonded and get references and call every single one.
I also tell people get cameras.

Some pet owners say there is a false sense of security when using Rover.com after their pets were neglected in the care of sitters found on the site.

I dont post many birds but this is one of my bestest friends, Peachie. She is a 38yrs old Goffin Cockatoo and I care for her every year for the past 9-10yrs, while her dad is in Florida for the winter. She does pluck her feathers while Dad is gone because cockatoos are very attached to their owners and she misses him. She is my spirit bird and my best friend. She is so happy to see me and whistles, well squawks, when she sees me. I love her so much.

We lost a dear friend yesterday. I have been caring for Capone for 12 yrs. He is a big teddy bear. Always happy to see me and that tail never stopped. He loved his treats and jumping up for kisses. He would sometimes be so happy he would jump up, hold on and hump 😂. Capone will be so missed. I just can’t think of walking into his house without him there to greet me.
But, he is running around the bridge young and vibrant today and I know was greeted by his best friend Carmella.
My condolences to his family and his canine friend Nyla who miss him.
Run Free Capone. Until we see each other again. ♥️💔

This is a pet food warning concerning Purina Dog food!!

In the group 'Saving pets one pet @ a time' on Facebook there have been 48 dogs and 3 cats sick form Purina, 10 of which have died since 12/5/23.

It seems to be all different Purina products but Purina Pro Plan has been the most common.

If you are feeding this food, I would stop feeding it immediately!!

Pet parents have notified Purina of this issue but no recall has been issued. So please!! Do not wait till your pet gets sick.
