Arawans Chiquito Rey: River is a 14’3 sorrel gelding by Chiquito Rey out of an Arawans Freckles mare. He is 6 years old with AQHA papers. River is sound and solid. He’s stout enough to do anything you decide to do, with good bone structure. He’s been ridden and worked on cattle since his 2 year old year. You can ride him in the cattle pens, in the arena or in the fields and pastures. He’s all business, no silly stuff in this one. You can use him as a sorter, Penner or cutter. Just giving a little shout out to the wonderful folks at Country Financial for the excellent service they gave us after the recent hurricane. Shonna and Dyane went right to work immediately after the storm processing our claim. We had our arena repaired and back in full use in less than 2 weeks. Checking Ronnie Hodges Horses in safe from the Hurricane. We had about 5 inches of rain and a whole lot of wind but we’re still standing. None of the barns or horses were hurt. We have some wind damage out at the arena but it can be rebuilt. (A she’s not the arena). Hope everyone is safe where you are.

Congratulations to Lee-Anne Mitchell today. She had her first big victory in the cutting pen at the Peach State Futurity. Lee-Anne won the 15,000 Amateur on her gelding Sweet Desperado, she also won a second in the 2000LR class. She’s been working really hard and it all came together this weekend.

Congratulations to these ladies this week. Rebecca Prow and her new mare Salty Shorty were Reserve Jr. Amateur horse at the Southern Stockhorse show in North Carolina. Rebecca and Salty won the boxing and were second in cutting. This duo has really come together in a very short time. Also, McKenna Catlett and her mare Rogue competed in the State 4-H show this week. McKenna placed 6th in boxing, 2nd in roping and 10th in reining. She placed 9th overall in The Ranch Horse division and qualified for regionals. Keep up the good work ladies!!!
