Little one
Everyone meet our little special needs baby, she is a busy little thing!! But so dang cute..
Timber has what we call tremors, she can't walk without falling all over herself. But again she's so dang cute.
Thank you Dr Hill and her staff for loving on her and checking her out for us
Needing your help
This morning I took our newest Rescue baby Dalton to the vet, I have no idea how the sweet boy has made it on his own.
( The video below is somewhat graphic..)
You see Dalton had something hidden underneath all that mangled fur, he had maggots!!!
Once my vet and her staff could get a much better look, they noticed the maggots had made little channels throughout, which meant surgery for Dalton..
On top of this his blood work showed he is heartworm positive!
We are asking for donations towards his surgery, that we were not expecting!! If you can possibly help, we would appreciate it.
Our only concern is for him and getting Dalton health โค๏ธ๐พ

JOHNNY CAT has been a busy boy today. First he needed to check out the new shipment of firring strips.
Next he did a final inspection of the roof. We are happy to report that it "Passed".
Then he managed to get into a bit of trouble. Our Construction Engineer caught him playing in the screen. BAD JOHNNY CAT!!!!
We received a donation of canned and dry cat food today!!!
We have lost our cleaning crew. We are looking for someone who can donate some time each week to help us sweep, mop and change litter boxes. If you can help, please message our page. We are located in Adel, Ga.
Nate dropped by on his way home for Christmas. He sure was happy to see his furbrothers, Lightening and Tennessee.
Remember Lightening, our very sick boy with UTI? He got better, then had a relapse with a URI!!!!! TAKE A LOOK AT HIM NOW.
He has become our resident "Wentworth Cat". He is hungry and he wants fed now!!!!
Remember Lightening, he was a very sick boy. He had UTI, got 100% better - then had a relapse with URI. We were very, very worried.
Look at him now!!!! He has become our resident "Wentworth Cat". He is hungry and he want's it, NOW!
Here is Lightening today, 5 days later. We have a great vet, Dr. Lea McNeil at Lake Park Veterinary Hospital. Trisha Meyers, our Medical Officer, has been taking care of him 24/7, feeding and giving meds. Al Raines, our #1 volunteer and fan has been here to help with his care in any way possible.
Lightening is purring and talking. From being fed a teaspoon of food at a time by syringe, to eating one and a half cans of shreds and plate cat food today!!!! Sure wish I had a digital scale to weigh him.
Our days are full here at the Sanctuary. We took in two 16 YO brothers. Both very loved, but needing a new home. Their names are Lightening and Tennessee. Tennessee is adjusting well. Lightening, on the other hand did not. He immediately began to weaken and took a very quick turn for the worse. Here is a picture of him several days after arriving at the Sanctuary. He was very sick.
