🥳🎈🎂 Please put your paws & claws together and help us celebrate this amazing man's birthday! 🎂🎈🥳
SO many of you know this handsome guy as Dominic, AKA, my soon-to-be husbandddd (AHHHH, I can't wait)! 🫠 💍 The majority of you have seen him in pictures and videos cuddling your furbabies 🤗, taking them on walks 🐕🦺, letting them give him kisses on kisses on kisses 😚, running around with them in the yard 🤪, playing tug and fetch inside and out 🥎, greeting you and them during drop-offs 👋, and catching up with you during pickups 💬... but there are a few other things that you don't get to see behind the scenes that I want to put the spotlight on! 🌟
🎁 After working his full-time career as a Project Engineer, he comes home and pours his all into helping us with feedings, cleaning, and maintaining any yard work we didn't get to each day. 🙏 If by luck we finished it all, he immediately goes into "cater Cassidy mode" and tries to make each night more relaxing for me than the hours that led up to it! 🥲
🎁 And if we are gonna talk about the evenings, we can't forget the mornings before he has to go to work, where he will wake up early to help me with the Boarding pups feedings, outside time, and Dog Daycation drop-offs all while multi-tasking getting himself ready! 😇
🎁 On busy weekends or weekends when I am not home, he dedicates time to lessen the load on my schedule by helping with some visits or caring for the pups that are staying with us! 💪🏼
🎁 You know those bath-time pictures we send you before you pick your pup up from their stay with us? Yeah, that's allllll him! 🤩 He makes sure each experience feels safe and comfortable to the point where even the ones that aren't crazy about bath time feel more at ease with him and makes sure to snap a few photos in the process! 📸🫧
🎁 We have a lot of doggos that are finicky eaters, and Dominic has gotten on the floor to hand-feed and spoon-feed when needed, all while having a smile on his face and carrying on a conversation with them like they are little, fluffy humans! 🙃🫶
🎁 He has gone into work late 🕖, woke up before the birds sang 🐦, come home early, and has even used his own vacation time for 1/2 and full days off just to help where and when needed. 🤯 There's also been quite a few instances where he has uprooted his whole routine to stay at a client's home for Overnights so I could have a little break, or because another client needed something urgently. 🙌
🎁 And one thing that is very important to me to mention is how understanding and flexible he is. In May, I was gone for 19 days at different overnights, and on the days where I was at home, I was solidly booked from 6:30am to about 9-10pm. In June, I will be gone for 21 days. This doesn't mean I don't stop at home, because I do, but it's generally during the day to see how Denise & Mackinzi are doing with the Boarding & Daycation pups (as they tend to them when I am not there, and until Dominic gets home from work) - but during these busy seasons, our schedules rarely align which makes it difficult to spend that quality time together. 🥺 Most people I know would throw in the towel or tell me to find a new career, but not this guy! 🥹 He is unwavering in his support for my dream of making this business everything I wanted it to be and more, and happily stands by my side finding anyway he can to help! 💛
There are still SO many other things that Dominic does and has done over the years, but we would need to make a 10-part series to get through it all! 🤣 To put it bluntly... I would not be able to provide care the way I do, to this magnitude, without his support, love, and devotion to both me and all of you. 🙏 I'm not the only face of this Pet Care Service... he is too! The fact that I found someone who is so patient, kind, and selfless is hard to come by now-a-days - and I will spend this lifetime, and any others, doing my best to thank him and show my appreciation in any way I can! 🥲💛
I love you, babe! Thank you for everything you do for me, our fur-pack, and all our clients! Happy birthday! 32 looks good on you (well, every year does)! 💛😍
P.S. If you don't see your pup pictured with the birthday boy... don't think we don't love them, I either could not find it, or we have yet to capture one! 🐾🥰
