This litter did not disappoint! Just wow! I think it definitely calls for a rebreeding of Dewey and Noodles. They're just four months old so unfortunately will be too old for National Juniors but still shockingly gorgeous. They have me excited for upcoming shows! NFS.

As I look forward onto 2024 and graduation in May I've realized that I need to downsize as I prepare for my next step into adulthood. I will be keeping some favorites and likely still showing some this year.

The little rew boy isn't as wide and full as his sable point brother but he has a cuter head piece and has such a sweet temperment. Can't wait to see how either of them develop!

More Pictures of the litter from Rolling River's Noodles and SHB Dewey. Honestly can't wait to see how any of them develop because they're all looking so promising right now. A definite test of my patience trying to get pictures but cute none the less.

Next weekend at the Christmas Show in Frankenmuth I'll be having a herd reduction.
The following rabbits with be there to look at.

Two Black Senior Bucks, they're both been used for showmanship at our local fair and have great temperaments.

They do not have to go together but I'd like them to. They are from Hessou lines and carry chocolate.

So all of Kylie's bunnies pose so good for her but no one else . She has a special touch so I've been spending more time in the bunny barn trying to get them use to others touching them . Sable point doe we are trying to decide on .

Three young Senior bucks all from the same litter. Their mom is Creekside's Lupe and sire is Hertz Athens. I've been struggling to pick one to keep because they all have such similar qualities but yet strong in different areas. I'd love opinions on who each of you like more and why.

We took some does to Chloe's tonight as they offered to let me use their bucks, my does where very unwilling participants but I came home with this gorgeous boy so it was all worthwhile. Thanks again Chloe! ❤️

So this post is almost a month late but better late then never!
This year we attended our first ever ARBA Convention! I took three Hollands and my blue new zealand doe, Kinsley. We didn't have any expectations for anything really but we went regardless because placings weren't what it was all about. I went because I was excited to meet more the Holland community and to spend time with those I'd already met. Show day was wild and as I suspected my Holland Lops all no placed but Kinsley (NZ) won her 6/8 class, Best Blue Intermediate Blue and Best Blue!!! I had so much fun spending time with my friends, new and old, and trying new things I might not have even thought about without them! I also added a new buck to the barn🫣! I've always admired Pat and Val's Hollands so I'm very astatic to introduce Cammack's Pogo! I thank them for their warmth and welcoming attitude towards the youth breeders including myself. I also welcomed back GC SHB Chunky Chester.
This convention memory will be one I'll always cherish and I can't wait to see everyone again in Kentucky next year !!!

Had a fun day in Coldwater today spending time with friends! I even got two class wins for the day. SHB Dixie SSD in Speciality under Jenny. SHB Jase SJB under Penny Jackson in show A. Congrats to Chloe and Noah with their BOB and BOS wins! Thank you Chloe for giving me the chance to have this adorable broken buck I love his front end and i can't wait to see how he develops! After all this fun I came home and tortured the bunnies even more 😂. Pictured is SHB Jase and Opal Acre's "Cannoli"

Been awhile since I've posted and we've since put a wrap on the 2023 Lenawee County fair year! I had a fantastic year and did well with all my animals.
For rabbits I got 2nd Place Senior Showmanship
BOB Holland Lop with SHB Dixie and BOS with SHB Jase, BOB and BOS Himalayans and BOB Tan with Julio . My New Zealands got BOV Blue and BOSV white. And a homegrown broken blue new Zealand I had sold to another 4Her won not only BOB but went on to win RIS !
This year I had the privilege to show my homegrown market rabbit in the newly created Homegrown Class as well as the traditional market class. Turns out that a blue can hold her own against some amazing whites as she brought home Grand Champion Roaster and Grand Champion Homegrown Roaster! This was a first for me and I'm so proud that it was with a blue I'd raised since birth.
In addition to my rabbits I did a lamb and dairy feeder calf this year too. I had no great wins with my dairy feeder but it was still a fun new experience. With my lamb I got 5th in senior showmanship!!
It was an exhausting week that was over as fast as it started and I couldn't be happier with how it went.
