A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by Yappy Hour last night to celebrate Dr. Herr, Gwen, and Judy. We are so grateful for your support and kindness! While we will miss these three amazing humans at Adrian, we are incredibly grateful for the time we have had with them and the expertise they have shared with us. Thank you again for joining us in celebrating their careers in veterinary medicine here at Adrian Animal Clinic.

To the community, furry friends, and pet parents,

After dedicating decades to veterinary and grooming services, Dr. Herr, Gwen, and Judy are retiring from the Adrian Animal Clinic on December 31, 2024. Over the years, they have cared for large and small animals on farms, in homes, and at the veterinary practice.

Together, they celebrated new puppies and kittens with clients, gave well checks, fixed broken bones, cared for all illnesses, performed life-saving surgeries, went on home visits, groomed a variety of animal companions, and provided support while clients said their last goodbyes to their beloved companions. This has never been just a job—for them, caring for animals is truly their life’s work.

They would like to express their gratitude to the many clients they have served over the years for trusting the Adrian Animal Clinic with their pet’s health and wellness. While they will miss their clients and patients, they are looking forward to a future filled with adventure, which will without a doubt include animals.

As one chapter ends, another begins. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Ketz-Riley to the Adrian Animal Clinic family! Dr. Ketz-Riley brings decades of experience in veterinary care, including a specialty in zoological medicine. Her remarkable career has taken her to institutions like the Topeka Zoo and Oklahoma State University, and now to Adrian Animal Clinic alongside Dr. Griffin, who is a mainstay and an amazing veterinarian.

This transition brings new opportunities to the community as we expand the services to include exotic animal medicine, while continuing the same loving, high-quality veterinary care that has been a cornerstone of the Adrian community for decades. We are excited for this next chapter and look forward to serving you and your beloved companions for years to come.
