Here’s the scoop: Dogs have a type of color vision called dichromatic, which means they see two primary colors instead of three. While humans can see red, blue, and green, dogs primarily see shades of yellow and blue. This means they can’t distinguish between red and green the way we can. So, a bright red ball might look more like a dull brown or gray to them! 🎾
Why does this matter? Understanding your dog’s vision can help you choose toys and accessories that they can see more clearly. Next time, pick out a vibrant yellow or blue toy, and watch your pup go wild! 💛💙
