Lyme disease cases are rising in Lenawee County. As of July 1, 2025, 10 cases have already been reported. If this trend continues, the county could see up to 20 cases by year’s end, the highest number in the past five years.

This is heart breaking….

As everyone is aware, I’ve dealt with my share of internet bullying over a groomer who is no longer with me. I also currently have a groomer that is high functioning autistic. Being an over thinker, don’t think I haven’t read, screenshot, lost sleep, or got sick over some of them. (If you know me, I love animals more than most humans and my main goal in life is to help in anyway possible in any situation) I know that negative comments take people’s spark. They often come from people who don’t have the spark on their own.

We need more spark to make this world a better place. Please be kind.

This a Harmony. This month marks a year that I have been grooming her. She has come a long way. When she first came to us she was terrified of everything. I could not groom her safely and had to muzzle her. Now I am able to groom her without any muzzle. Though her groom may not be perfect and we still have to work on things I am so proud of her, and I am thankful to her pet parent who has not only taken our advise, but has been diligent in keeping her on a regular grooming schedule. Now she enjoys her grooming as aposed to being scared of the process.
