Hi! My name is Rumi & I am looking for my furever home! 💕

In February of this year, I was found wandering the busy streets of Durham. I had been hit by a car and my back leg was broken 😞

I was taken to Orange County Animal shelter, where I stayed for a couple months.

The Vet there wanted to remove my leg, but Dr B. saw potential in me. He believed there was hope and decided to do a different kind of surgery. Now my leg is all healed and I have made a full recovery! Yay! 😄

Now I am looking for my furever family. I’m a super sweet girl with a lot of love to give. I’m roughly 4 years old, I’ve been spayed and vaccinated, I would probably do best in a home without kitties, but would be okay if I had a dog sibling as playful as me.

I love to do tricks for snacks, I love giving kisses and getting belly rubs, and I know I would make a great addition to someone’s family!

We are now about 2 miles down the road from our old location!

Our new address is:

Advance, NC, 27006

(We are in the downstairs part of the building beside of the G&B energy building, beside the water tower. “Healthy Made Simple” is upstairs!)

We cannot wait for you all to come see us at our new place. Thank you for letting us care for your furbabies all these years. We have a lot of memories in our old building, but we are so excited to make new ones!

If anyone has any questions, feel free to give us a call (our phone number is still the same!) We look forward to seeing everyone!
