We are currently seeking a reliable Farm Hand to join our team, with primary responsibilities including stall cleaning and occasional horse feeding.

Hours: 9am-5pm, with flexibility available for the ideal candidate. Our farm is conveniently located near I-40 Exit 180.

To excel in this role, you must be:
*be self-motivated
* be disciplined
*follow instructions
*minimum lifting capacity of 50 lbs
*have the ability to work without distraction from a cell phone

No housing available

Please remember to dress warm for lessons!!!

Since the temps have dropped and it’s too cold to ride, it’s the perfect time to shift our focus and make the most of the time!

Lessons will continue and you will need to dress appropriately in layers.

Here are some things we will do to stay productive even when riding isn’t an option for lessons:

Tack TLC: We will give our bridles, saddles, and other equipment a thorough cleaning and conditioning.

Tiny Tots: We will do fun horsey activities!

Groundwork Magic: Practice groundwork exercises to build trust and communication—think light lunging (on good footing) and leading. The horses need a good stretch!

Bonding Time: Grooming is a great way to warm up the horses and build a connection. They will appreciate a good scratch and peppermints!

Stretch & Strengthen: We will work on flexibility, balance, and strength with rider-focused exercises.

Plan for Success: We will use this downtime to map out riding goals for the upcoming season.

Cold weather doesn’t mean progress has to stop, there’s always a way to grow as a rider and deepen your partnership with the horses!

Activities will be at your trainer’s discretion.

Remember good horsemanship is not just about being in the saddle!!
