I have been telling people for years to stop storing your dog food in plastic containers! The fat coated kibble starts to go rancid when exposed to oxygen! Doesn’t matter how you store it. This is why some dogs start to refuse eating kibble from the bottom of the bag- the food has gone rancid and bad! Make sure to store your kibble in the bag it came in and squeeze out all the air and clip it shut.

Plastics are porous, meaning oils💧 become trapped in them. Unless they’re washed🧼 daily, which isn’t practical, the pet food stored inside will be spoiled by rancid oils.🩸Proper pet food storage is essential to blocking or delaying the development of degenerative chemical processes⚠️ and the growth of spoilage bacteria.

There are no words. My heart is shattered. I had to say goodbye to my sweet boy, Bam Bam last night. He was my soul dog. He was a friend to many of your pups. He was always so happy-go-lucky and friendly with every dog that came into my house. Hold your pups tight and give them extra treats. Life is too short and way to precious. Rest In Peace my baby Boo Boo. 😭💔🌈💜

This week the world lost a very sweet little girl. I’ve know and watched Ollie since 2014. Ollie was such a good girl and a great friend to all my dogs. We were sad when she moved to California a couple years ago and now heartbroken especially for her mom. Rest In Peace sweet Ollie- and say hello to Vito, Hugo, Squish, and your sister Macy for me. 😭💔🐶💜🌈⭐️
