Today's our yearly Big E outing! We close early at 3p today and will be back at regular hours tomorrow (8a-5p).

Also, a reminder to anyone who has appts between now and Sept 29 - prepare for traffic/delays due to the Big E.

Now excuse us as we make questionable choices about ingesting weird food!

Happy (almost) 4th of July Mass Vet Fam!

Just a reminder for our office hours over the next two days...

- Thursday July 4th: CLOSED
- Friday July 5th: 8a-12p (CLOSING EARLY)

Keep in mind that if your pet suffers from noise phobia/anxiety that any local fireworks are likely to stress them out. You can attempt to counter w/ prescribed anxiety meds or you can even try some methods listed here:

Mass Vet Family,
We'd like to remind you of the upcoming heat wave and the dangers it can pose to our furry friends. Please pay close attention to the dew point. If it's greater than 60 it can be very uncomfortable for our healthy pets and can be dangerous for our pets with cardiac and/or pulmonary issues.

So please be caution when taking your pets out for prolonged walks or allowing them to have extended high intensity play during these muggy days.

Take caution with your outdoor or indoor/outdoor pets and be sure they're up to date on their vaccinations!

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is advising residents in Agawam of a cat who tested positive for rabies. Those exposed should contact the health department as soon as possible.

Hannibal wants to remind everyone observing the Eclipse today to only do so if you're sporting fashionably appropriate eyewear designed to do so!

According to our research (google) - the max eclipse point for our area is around 3:27p.

As we're fast approaching Spring (supposedly) and Easter is in a few days - to all our CAT owners - just a reminder that lillies and other common household flowers/plants can be toxic and even fatal to our feline friends!
