Meet Betsy — Our Longest-Standing Sweetheart! 💕

Betsy has been with us longer than any other pup at the rescue, and we just know her perfect match is out there! This special 2 year old pittie girl weighs around 70 lbs and has a heart as big as her smile. Betsy absolutely thrives on human attention, she’s amazing with kids and loves everyone she meets. Her goofy charm and playful personality win over every person who spends time with her!

Like many rescue dogs, Betsy has her quirks, her only one is that she prefers to be the only dog in the home. That just means she can soak up all your love (and belly rubs!) without having to share. She’s fully potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and has a flair for fashion, give her a hat or a cute outfit, and she turns into a total supermodel for the camera! 📸

Betsy is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations. What she needs now is a home to call her own, or even a loving foster family to help her continue to thrive in a home environment. Blanche is a 3 year old, 12 pound Terrier mix who’s as sweet as she is small. She was rescued from a high-intake shelter, where life was pretty overwhelming for a little dog like her. Understandably, Blanche came to us shy and unsure of the world, but she’s already showing us what a loving and loyal companion she can be once she feels safe. Blanche will need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space to settle in and learn that she’s finally home. She’s the perfect example of the 3-3-3 rule:
🐾3 days to decompress
🐾3 weeks to start adjusting and learning her new routine
🐾3 months to feel secure, confident, and fully bonded

Once Blanche trusts you, she’s all heart, affectionate, loyal, and eager to love her people. We’re also here to make sure her transition goes as smoothly as possible! Her adopter (or foster!) will have access to our on staff trainer for personalized tips, tricks, and extra support. Finn is a 4 year old Lab mix with a heart as big as his paws. This handsome, large breed 77lb boy is an active pup who thrives on playtime, especially when there’s a tennis ball involved! He’s a fetch pro and would love a home where he can get plenty of exercise and outdoor time. Finn may be a little reserved at first, but give him a bit of time and you’ll see his sweet, loyal nature shine through. Once he knows you’re a friend, he’s all in, with tail wags, affection, and goofy charm. Sadly, Finn was abandoned at a shelter by his previous family, but he’s settling in well at our facility and slowly learning to trust again. He’s already showing how resilient and loving he can be. Finn walks nicely on a leash and gets along well with other dogs. He’d do best in an active, patient home where he can continue building his confidence and feel like part of the family again. This special girl has spent more time in our care than we’d hoped, but she’s more than ready to bond with someone willing to give her the chance she’s been waiting for. Granola can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality shines. She walks beautifully on leash, enjoys a good toy play session, and gets along well with other dogs with proper introductions.
