2K Agility out did themselves. The TDAA agility trial and fun run was awesome. Karen Pelkey had very nice courses and some fun games. The ring crew was useless!

As a young and dumb mom I may have thought this was cute. Now as a grandmother, I think this is just nuts. Since lots of dog owners have or had horses, I had to share so feel free to express stupid or cute in the comments.

Silly and Bruce earned another double Q. Silly had the speed to win 1st place in both her Standard and JWW. Congratulations Bruce!

I am inspired and ready to get back to helping people with their dogs learn basic manners if that's what is needed and training the sport of dog agility. The best compliments I received lately are from my snow bird clients and others who tried going to trainers in their area "Oh Vickie you are so patient. Our lessons with you are really fun. My dog started shutting down and I lost my confidence. This trainer is so critical. I can't wait to start up again with you." If it isn't fun both dogs and people quit. So sad. Some people contacted me while we were gone. Call me to set up a schedule. Let's work hard and have fun doing it!

Tyler's Ex JWW debut is a done deal, now comes the hard part. Good thing we're joined at the hip, because we're far from done, but hey, that's one awesome milestone checked off! He was in Open Purgatory for a short time thank goodness!

Update: Shiela gave me the best birthday present. She went 6 for 6 at this 3 day trial which translates to 3 double Q's. My goal with Shiela has come to fruition. Shiela is such a special dog. Thanks to Paula Ratoza our judge, the Beartooth Agility Club of MT and Yellowstone Dog Sports for a wonderful trial.

Feeling very proud of my girls. Shiela was Reserve Champion and Lilly was 5th at the TDAA Petite Prix, their nationals. It was a wonderful experience.

The power is on! Very little smoke. Life can now get back to normal.

No lessons tomorrow or Thursday. The road is closed to non-residents at Bradford and 371. We are not in danger and have no smoke. Feeling very lucky.

Thank you everyone for checking on us. The fire is east of us. The wind is blowing it away. Luckily no smoke. I spoke with a fireman and he said no worries just be prepared to leave. Horse trailer is hooked up and our little motorhome/dog hauler is ready.
