Aiken County Mobile Dog Grooming

Aiken County Mobile Dog Grooming The pups come first! We are a mobile dog grooming service, so we drive to you! We are a 100% self contained truck & trailer set up.

We’ve been mobile dog grooming since 2007. We specialize in pet friendly grooms. Minimum rates start from $120 & an every month or every other month schedule is required. Roughly, $100/hour after the minimum is met.

🥶A friendly reminder that starting times will often be delayed in frigid temps. Water lines need to be unhooked & drained at PM & rehooked up & tested in the AM to prevent damage to the equipment. 🥶

Happy 2025!! Officially I am on waitlist status & am not considering new appts until after 1-15-25. See the below information to find out if we’d be a good fit.

-In order to see if I can get you on the schedule or waitlist (officially on waitlist status), I need more basic information. (This is a standard response; ignore items you already provided.)

-What area are you in
-Breed of pup/s
-When last groomed
-Any matting, etc
-Pics taken within the last few
days
-Weight of pup/s
-Any behavioral/health
conditions related to
grooming?

-All communication is accomplished (& in order of preference) via text, email or FB PM. Voice mail is NOT checked & phone calls do not happen.

-A little basic info to make sure we’d be a good fit:

•All pups are required to maintain a methodical rotating EM (every month) or EOM (every other month) schedule. Currently, only EOM appts are possible. If EM are desired, it is suggested to at a minimum start at EOM until a corresponding EM spot opens. After the first appt, if you can’t be there, I need access by some means to keep your pup/s on schedule. Frequent rescheduling does not work with how I run the scheduling. Appt change requests must be made asap & at a minimum 2+ weeks out from your appt if you do not want to incur rescheduling fees. Frequent rescheduling can result in losing your spot on the schedule.
•I have a zero tolerance cancellation policy (see the policies on the website, FB or emails for more information). Rescheduling is an acceptable alternative, however not on a regular basis.
•The groom minimum starts at $120 for one pup & includes up to the first hour on that groom dependent on breed/behavior/type of cut & matting. (For example, Cocker Spaniel/Cairn Terrier/Westie/Mini Schnauzer types: $100 & up + $20 for the first pup so would be $120+ or the doodle minimum is $130, so the price for one would be $130+ + $20 = $150+.) After the minimum is met, the hourly rate is roughly $100/hour during business hours & certain services such as additional nails (for other pups not being groomed) are available. Trip charges may apply.
•All pups must be 100 lbs or less & at a minimum decently behaved. You will still be responsible for all qouted grooming/trip fees etc if the groom can not be completed due to behavioral or health issues. So please, it is important to be honest.
•As per matting policies, moderate to heavy matting is not tolerated as it is unfair to both the pup & groomer. In the event a pup is deemed badly matted, it is likely they will be shaved down to 1/2 inch or less; dependent on what can get through the coat with the least amount of stress to the pup as possible. If it’s just a few that can be easily cut &/or groomed out they will be spared the shave-down (this is up to the groomer’s discretion.). After that first groom, it is up to the pup parents as to how long the coat can be. Pups must be flea & tick free or there will be additional charges.
•Locations traveled to. Some locations require trip charges (see FB or website for further details). Currently the areas appts are being considered in are most of Aiken County (Aiken, Graniteville, Beech Island, Wagener & Warrenville are most commonly traveled to. Windsor & nearby areas are not traveled to as frequently.). Occasionally N. Augusta, Augusta, Ridge Spring, Edgefield & Trenton are traveled to. Other areas may be considered if close by &/or trip charges & grooming fees can be arranged to comfortably compensate for gas, vehicle wear & tear & time on the road. If an entire ACMDG business day or close to an entire day (travel & grooming time) needs to be put aside/reserved for an appt, expect to pay $300 & more (areas or trips approximately 20 min &/or miles or more from Beech Island are subject to steeper trip & minimum charges. For example, Colombia/Lexington areas are 3+ hours of driving & would require an entire day blocked & be a $450 minimum ($150 + of that being trip) w a 1-3 dog &/or 3 hour max grooming time @ approximately $100/hour).

-HOURS: Grooming occurs between the hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Tuesday-Thursday & 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday. Mondays are reserved as a reschedule/overflow day.

-If interested, please be sure to read over the basic information & policies included in emails (also on the website & first pinned post on FB w the Frenchie) as items such as rough pricing, what a groom includes, payment forms accepted, matting policies, rescheduling/cancellations, to operating hours are covered & more.

-This is partly a test to see if we’d be a good fit & that you read through the information sent to you. Congrats if you’ve gotten this far. 😉 If you respond back & agree to the basic requirements & information, send the info requested, etc or have more questions and you also provide the information requested (minus what you’ve already provided), I will see if I can accommodate you.

Thank you for your interest!

On a personal, not professional note, so continue at your own risk, I’m seeing continued improvements w feed changes w both Fluffy (cat) & Bailey (dog). Based off of numerous online sources & a book co-written by a veterinarian & a pet nutritionist(?); “The Forever Dog Life”. Online sources include, but are not limited to, Dr Marty (veterinarian) in particular. Badlands Ranch which coincides quite a bit w Dr Marty’s info. Planning on ordering his book. Biggest changes in Bailey have been teeth/breath, coat/skin including “lumps & bumps” & weight. Fluffy’s physique, coat & skin have notable improvements. For both, I make the same homemade food (made in a pressure cooker) which includes a protein (chicken, beef or pork to date), carrots, sweet potato, asparagus &/or broccoli, baby bella mushrooms, rosemary, ACV w mader, touch of pink himalayan salt, combo of brown & white rice (likely switching to all brown due to constant re-researching), homemade bone broth both in the feed & topped off w when fed.

At AM I do all the crazy additions. PM is basic & simple in comparison; homemade feed, bone broth & dehydrated chicken livers.

When fed the homemade feed @ AM for both gets topped with: EVOO, ACV w mader, Sacred 7 mushroom powder, blueberries (frozen for teeth & cut up for cat), ginger, basil, goat milk powder, rosemary, chia seeds, homemade bone broth, raw egg, cut up raw chicken livers & finally dehydrated chicken livers (cat goes crazzzy over them & both chicken liver forms improve her appetite.) Sometimes I top with half a sardine packed in olive oil.

Just Bailey(dog) @ AM gets: A combo of &/or switched up of bell peppers, tomatoes, watermelon, honey dew & cantaloupe. Raw local honey. Tumeric, cinnamon, garlic powder & pumpkin powder.

The increased flavonoids & frozen blueberries have improved Bailey’s teeth by roughly 75%. I saw no significant change w daily brushing.

The “Sacred 7” mushroom powder made an immediate difference on Bailey’s “lumps & bumps” & even health changes within myself…

I plan on adding flax for additional omegas.

***Do your own research & make your own informed decisions. This is not scientific in any way on my end & I am not liable for your choices based on this post or any other. All information is subject to change & particularly as I observe & learn more.***

Teeth… So much conflicting info out there… I’m going to share more personal bits I’ve picked up. ***Use at your own risk.*** I’ve been given permission to share photos & info a family member uses. They have a 4 year old “labradorian lover”, Labrador LOL, w PERFECT TEETH!! The vet is super impressed & has never had to do any cleanings etc. They hunt & give an entire raw antler to their pup. That is all!! The chewing action, guessing much like the bones we used to often give (don’t do cooked; studies have shown splinter & can puncture internally etc. Also be careful of size; choking hazard.) & even the twigs they nab while out help them clean their teeth. I’ve also noticed personally on my 25 lb Frenchie that feeding frozen blueberries daily has made more of a difference vs daily brushing!! Also added flavonoids have made even more of a difference (see the book I’ve mentioned & shared, co-written by a veterinarian. It mentions the twig chewing & flavonoids). So take or leave this info as you wish… Again, this is all based on personal, not professional or scholastic adventures even. ***Use at your own risk.***

Learn to prepare healthy, homemade meals your dog will love, with more than 120 nutritionally packed recipes for delicious food bowls, fresh food toppers that supercharge any type of pet food, and nourishing broths and stews that entice the pickiest of eaters. Something to chew on… On a personal note… As it so happens I’ve added more flavonoids to my pups homemade food & have seen some improvements. Between this, Dr Marty, Badlands Ranch/Heigl, “The Forever Dog Life” book & what I’ve researched, I will be adjusting a bit more on the next round.
