Tommy Sheets, owner and operator of Tommy Sheets Show Horses, is a highly respected All-Around Horse Trainer based in Louisville, Kentucky. With over 40 years of experience in the horse industry, Tommy has shown, trained, & produced more than 150 World Champions, Reserve World Champions, and Congress Winners.

Tommy has earned numerous national high-point titles in Western Pleasure, Reining, Western Riding, Trail, & Performance Halter. Throughout his illustrious career, Tommy has accumulated over 10,000 AQHA points and has been named an 8-time Team Wrangler Member.

Tommy and his wife, Leslie, who owns Leslie Lewis & Associates Interior Design, reside in Jeffersonville, Indiana. They have one son, Murphy, who serves as the Corporate Hospitality Leader for the PGA of America in Frisco, Texas.

Whether you’re looking for a trusty ranch hand, reliable trail horse, or four legged-babysitter for your kids, our goal remains the same: to provide high quality horses and educate owners to ensure a fun and dependable future together. Our horses go through an extensive training and evaluation program before being offered for sale. We assess every characteristic of the horse, but a good disposition and usability are especially important to us. We carefully select and train horses that display important physical traits, such as a balanced conformation, but also personality traits, such as a kind heart, good temperament, and willingness to work hard. From riding in the arena, to doctoring cattle in the pasture, our partners enjoy their jobs and are willing to do what is asked of them. Our focus isn’t only on the horse - we are passionate about educating riders to set them up for success and ensure they get the same horse at home that they first rode in our arena. We spend a lot of time with our horses and it is truly our hope that you get the same enjoyment and fulfillment out of your new mount as we did. Jake’s first words were “Whoa Mare.” He grew up watching his Dad on farm calls as a large animal veterinarian, and in the evenings would “train” his pony as he watched his mom and dad start the home raised 2 year olds. After graduating high school, Jake decided to head west and passed Ken Mcnabb’s Apprentice Level Certification. He returned home and started his training business with an emphasis on first fixing the horse, then educating the owners to create the perfect horse-and-ride pair. Jake furthered his education at The Ohio State University with an associates degree in Biochemical Science (Pre-Vet) and a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Business and Equine Science. When he’s not in the saddle, Jake loves spending time with his wife, Samantha, and children, Hadley and McCoy.

Matt Mardis, the owner and founder of MM Horses, was born and raised in the ranching world. He began roping at 11 years old. As his skill and horsemanship progressed, he found work at some of the largest ranches in the Texas panhandle. Matt gained a real world education working on those ranches and feed lots. Along the way, he realized the incredible value in horses who may not become world champion performance horses, yet are athletic, patient, and hard working. Over the years Matt's business shifted from cattle to horses. MM Horses was born from Matt's skill of training and developing horses and his passion for placing them into the perfect partnerships. Matt considers it a privilege and joy to be a part of their clients' horse journeys.
