If you are not in a position to adopt or foster right now, please consider taking pup 🐶on an Adventure Day for a few hours (or even an overnight😀). We make it easy. Just stop by between 11am-2:30pm Mon-Sat and we'll help you find the perfect buddy for the day. Whether you're looking to take a dog for a stroll downtown, to hang out the park or have them chill with you in your home, we can find the perfect pooch for the activity.

These pups from our Shape group are still in need of a foster home. Their previous foster person had to go out of town. Pup names are Hexagon and Star and at only 8 weeks old they are not ready for spay/neuter surgery yet. If you have room in your home and little time (a week or two) to spend nurturing and playing with these adorable 💛💛 of gold pups, then circle back around to the Albrecht Ctr and pick them up. We provide everything you will need.

Here at the SPCA Albrecht bakery we have these cute little muffins that need fostering. They’re scrumptious and would love to be fostered in pairs of two. We usually need puppy or large dog fosters, but for a change of pace, here is this small white Toto dog named Bowie. He has a skin issue that the vet would like cleared up before scheduling his neuter surgery. Meet the Zzs top pups- these pretty little girls all weighing under 10 pounds were found wandering down a local street (most likely after being dropped off). They need fostering for a couple of weeks until they’re old enough to be spayed. All supplies provided.

I would like to say thanks with a shout out to all of our adult dog foster parents today. The shelter can be a very stressful place. An adult shelter dog being able to unwind in a home🏠while learning new skills not only helps the dog in the short term but helps us place them faster in a forever home while reducing the chances of them being returned for unwanted behaviors.

Thanks to Debra and Don, Carol, Steph and Mike, and MaryAnn for all that you do for our shelter dogs🐶. You guys are barking great!!!

Our Holiday Heroes event begins Wednesday December 18th. We are looking for people to take our shelter animals home for the holidays. We will provide food, crate, toys, bowls and anything else needed. If you are able to keep them until the 26th (or longer) then please consider giving this precious gift to one of our many deserving animals.
