I have had horses for 30 years and have evented for 5 -6 years. During that time, the idea of repairing other friends blankets came about. My mother taught me how to sew in elementary school. In addition, Aiken Horse Blanket Couture offers traditional but professional wash, waterproofing, repair, blanket alterations, vacuum sealing fly sheets for storing blankets during the off season. If you have challenges transporting your blankets,, I offer a pick up and delivery service. For those of you out of town, I will also deliver to the PO Office, UPS or FED EX.
