It was another wonderful day of education with Felicitas von Neumann-Cosel at our clinic today at Aiken Equestrian Center.

Auditors and riders alike got clarification on the many tools that can help both horse and rider. It was amazing to see what correct biomechanics of the rider does for the horse.

We are looking forward to another great day tomorrow. Sunday's clinic starts one hour earlier than previous days - starting at 7 am. Auditors are still welcome for a $25 fee and gates will open at 6:45 am.

Today's lunch was provided by Tom Murray and Carolina Real Estate Company, with our appreciation, and was enjoyed by all.

We are also grateful to Aiken Saddlery and Purina Horse Feed for the exceptional goody bags provided to clinic participants.

A huge shout-out to both Aiken Saddlery and Purina Horse Feed for - not only great goodie bags for riders - but for providing a wonderful lunch today.

We are all looking forward to tomorrow's rides; there is still room for auditors, if you’d like to attend. Just a reminder to bring a chair and cash is greatly appreciated for payment.

As always, a huge thank you to Olga Iglikova for allowing us to enjoy this amazing facility. It was wonderful to showcase the tremendous improvements recently made to this beautiful property.

Decontessa HH "Tessa" is a 2022 beautiful black filly by Diacontinus and out of a Conteur mare. Tessa is as sweet as they come with a lovely willing demeanor. She is the type of mare everyone wants, with her nurturing personality. Her older brother "Gram" was started this year and took to work like a pro. We predict Tessa will be exactly the same. This girl could make a lovely addition to a breeding program or be started as your next partner. Located in Aiken SC offered for low 🖐🥕

JULY 26, 27 & 28: Clinic with Felicitas von Neumann – Cosel

Brittany Jamison Dressage, in conjunction with AIKEN EQUESTRIAN CENTER, is pleased to welcome Felicitas von Neumann - Cosel to our facility in Aiken.

If you’d like the opportunity to ride with Felicitas and enjoy our covered arena (compete with new GGT footing), please contact [email protected] or call 917-885-4088.

Felicitas placed first in her native Germany when completing her “Reitlehrer,” a federally certified instructor certification. She also graduated with the highest score ever awarded up to that time, following the restructuring and improvement of the program in 1982 by the German government. Felicitas has also served as a USDF examiner for the Instructor’s Certification Program here in the United States. She edited Reiner Klimke’s book Ahlerich: The Making of a Dressage, and is a frequent contributor to Dressage Today Dressage Today and Practical Horseman Magazine explaining her philosophy on the importance of hill work for developing “propulsive power” and “carrying power.”

Stabling is available, call Brittany Jamison at (603) 738-6490.

AIKEN EQUESTRIAN CENTER (formerly Cowdray Park, formerly Buckleigh Equestrian Center) is located at 2040 Peter’s Way, just off Wagener Road. AEC now boosts three arenas (two of them brand-new), including our beautiful, new GGT footing in the covered arena. We'd like to offer special thanks to the owner of AEC Olga Iglikova for her efforts in restoring this facility.

Brittany Jamison Dressage had a great weekend at Stable View’s Do Dah Day Dressage. Jane Reilly Mount took her own Luchador XV both in 1-1 and 1-3. The pair secured Jane's second bronze medal score and got some good homework; they will be ready for the next show!

BJD assistant trainer and manager Kerry Parmer took Olga Iglikova's home bred three-year-old Gran Conteur (Grey top x Conetur) for his first ever outing. The judges gave him great comments in his Material class earning a 73+% and first place.

The pair also tried their hands at T-3 with wonderful remarks on this lovely horses future. "Gram," as he is known in the barn, is a giant teddy bear. His kind temperament shined this weekend, as he stepped up and showed his true rideability. Gram is also offered for sale. Snag him quick before he develops further and his price ⬆️

Both horses were in Custom Icon Flights this weekend. They were perfectly fit by Nancy Bardy.

Thankful for the caring touch of Casey Daugherty of Stellar Equine Performance. Always thankful for the care from Dr. Lauren Ray-McCarley and farrier Rory Torrey

Both boys were shined even three-days post bath, due to EquiFUSE grooming products!

It was a casual hack kinda morning at Aiken Equestrian Center, LLC after yesterday’s schooling show at Stable View.

Liz Daschner and Jane Reilly Mount made their debuts at First Level, bringing in nice scores at 1-3.

Kudos also to Kelsey Dietrich and Faith Hutchison (Jill Hutchinson) for getting into that show ring; they missed the morning hack but we are proud of all our competitors.

Schoolmaster Solo Per Me went down the centerline at PSG for the first time in a long time, in preparation for her rider’s Silver medal. Solo won her class with a 62+.

I am very excited to introduce 2 more lovely school horses to the BJD line up!

First up is Keep the Faith aka "Stoli" Stoli is a 15 year old QHX that has a background in just about everything. This kind natured gelding stands 15.2 and is a forward thinking horse while being extremely safe! Welcome Stoli!

Next is A Morrelo Cherry aka "Cherry" Cherry is an 18 year old KWPN mare with a back ground in both dressage and jumpers. This kind natured mare stands 17.0 with 3 quality gaits and a butter soft mouth. Cherry comes as a plus one as she is currently in foal. We are very excited to see what she produces and then get her into the program! Welcome Cherry!

We had a lovely clinic with Katie Poag Dressage. We had everything from young horses, to young riders, and first level to PSG. With the encouraging and detailed teaching of Katie all riders came out with, not only some very thoughtful homework, but some details on how to improve test riding. Katie is an "R" judge and incorporates things seen from a judge’s eye into her lessons. A great day was had by all! Thank you Katie. And thank you Olga Iglikova for this beautiful covered arena!

What fun we had at Stable View’s ‘Spring Fever’ this weekend!

Manager and Assistant Trainer Kerry Parmer’s vast knowledge and dedication to baby horses has kept her from the centerline. But, she arrived this weekend with the one-and-only Vincenzo.

‘Vinnie’ is owned by Meghan Blair Truppner, who graciously allows us to use him in our program. Kerry rode twice at Second Level and again at Third Level, securing four scores towards her Bronze Medal. Kerry has a lifetime of experience and is now putting the proof on paper.

Jane Reilly Mount rode her own Luchador XV. In just under a year, ‘Lukie’ has gone from very green to his First Level debut. Together they secured a 62+%, which makes this Jane's first score towards a Bronze Medal. Next, this pair marched out at T-3 for her second and final score qualifying them for regionals with a 66+.

Thanks, as always, to Stable View for the shows they host.

We are grateful to our sponsor Custom Saddlery (both horses were in Icon Flights), Saddle fitter Nancy Bardy for her careful adjustments, and to EquiFUSE — even in the rain (and boy did it rain!), our horses shined.

To the team that keeps our four-legged athletes their best: Dr. Lauren Ray of Southern Equine Service, Casey Daugherty of Stellar Equine Performance Therapy and Rory Torrey of Woodhaven Equine Services 🙏 🙏🙏
