Bragging on my working students a bit today! Logan came out first with Snoopy and introduced him to small jumps. He didn't take to it at first but with patience and persistence and never taking it personally she got him confidently over some jumps. Next was Michaela and Lauren on Spencer and Argon. These two have been working very hard on balance, cadence and ring geometry. Today they both nailed the canter tour of 2-1 as well as some very nice shoulder in work! These girls are amazing!!
This past weekend at Stable View’s Southern Comfort Show, Lexicon VEB wasn't the only star. ⭐️
Brittany took Kildemoses Maserati down the centerline at I-1, earning a 69.4 on Saturday. It was one of their best tests to date as the team continues working toward adding power to the movements. Brittany has had Maserati for just two years and is excited by the quick progress he is making.
On day two, a bit if tension left them with a 67.5. However, despite room for improvement, the pair was rewarded several 8s. Next up: they are preparing to debut their first musical freestyle! 🎼 💃

Maroochy, owned by Debra Knapp, came to florida with us to start fitting up after a recurring injury. We are taking it slow and steady but he is getting stronger every day! Truly enjoying working with this lovely horse!
Looking for a horse to go to Rolex? Me neither, but if you are looking for a fun and sweet mare Elsa has got it to boot. She is a novice packer who is point and shoot cross country with a wonderfully smooth jump (trust me your body with thank you.) Currently barefoot and lives out in a herd of both mares and geldings. Elsa will load herself on the trailer, quietly stand there all day, and come out the same under saddle as she does at home. Don’t let the swifter tail deter you, this girl makes up for what she lacks in hair with heart!
Elsa has had many starts in area 1 in both BN and Novice. She took a few years off from competition to be a school horse and then belonged to a younger rider for a year. She is now working her way back to being competition ready and is looking for a new partner.
