Our team at Brittany Jamison Dressage spent the weekend at SCDCTA’s Low Country Dressage Show in Charleston County. We brought six horses and had so much fun! Thank you to all at SCDCTA for making it happen.

Brittany showed her own Lexicon VEB for his 4th level debut! Lexicon put in a solid effort, earning a 68+% day one and a 65+% day two. A few bobbles leave plenty of room for improvement, but he was relaxed and took on his test with confidence.

Brittany also brought five-year-old Oldenburg sale horse Shannel FF owned by Kirsten Fadanholz. The pair competed t-3. Day one had some tension issues leaving them with a 61. However, after regrouping and a deploying a slightly different warm-up tactic on day two, the pair earned a 70%.

Next up was Faith Hutchinson who piloted Argon 18 owned by Lauren Perreault. This was Faith's first time at 1st level and she rocked it! The pair took on 1-1 with style earning a 66% day one and a 62% day two. They will be looking to take on 1-3 very soon!

Jane Reilly Mount brought her own silver steed Luchador to ride 1-3. Despite the score being just .6 points from a regional qualifying score the test was soft and correct. Jane's test riding has shown incredible improvement and the pair is truly harmonious. Jane also explored the nearby BEAUTIFUL trails of John’s Island County Park with her husband Jerry Mount who's trusty polo pony Kai came along for the adventure!

Barn manager Shannon Hines took Solo Per Me out for their first show together. Shannon has only been riding Solo for two weeks, but it’s the start of a great partnership, as they danced down the centerline of 3-3. Just shy of the coveted 60% this team is sure to have great success in the future!

I can't thank Shannon Abbey enough for taking her weekend and grooming for us! She kept the ball rolling all weekend! And of course thanks to the awesome team at home that kept the home base going!

Our horses are incredibly lucky to have our wonderful sponsors. Each horse enjoys their own Custom Saddlery saddle, expertly fitted by Nancy Bardy.

Our horses are powered by Purina Horse Feed. EquiFUSE products have our horses coats so healthy and shiny, and we were to able to skip baths at this VERY chilly show.

Huge shout out to farrier JT Timmons for keeping our horses feet well balanced and comfortable,

Dr Lauren Ray of Southern Equine Service for all of her hard work and dedication to the health of our horses.

And of course, Casey Daugherty of Stellar Equine Performance Therapy, for keeping our horses muscles soft and relaxed to be able to perform at the top of their ability. ,

A rare chance for an opportunity to be a horse owner without all the cost! We have decided to offer several of our amazing lesson horses for half or full lease.

Cherry 16.3 KWPN mare. Previously a jumper, Cherry now spends most of her time sand dancing. She has lovely laterals and is solidifying her changes. She also enjoys hacking and is a gem on the ground. A low intermediate rider is suggested as she is sensitive.

Solo 16.1 Oldenburg mare. Competed to PSG and schools all the GP with tempis as a highlight. A chance to earn your Medals while learning from a true school master. This mare is sensitive and forward, while being trustworthy.

Duke 15.1 TB cross. As SAINTLY as they come. Duke is available for half lease to someone who needs to regain their confidence. Three comfortable gaits, great counter canter, nicely forward but a great whoa. Basic laterals and SAFE to hack out.

Bella 15.1 Morgan mare. Second level queen. Very slight build. Can get a little sticky with a tense rider. Lovely laterals and comfortable gaits

Gram 17.3 Four-year-old Hanoverian. Wise beyond his years and with a true old soul. Gram is lovely to show and a blast to ride. Due to his age, experienced riders requested.

Hunter 15.2 AWB gelding. Confidence builder extraordinaire. Three comfortable gaits, experienced to second. Hunter also enjoys being pampered on the ground and a good trail ride.

If any if these lovely creatures peak your interest, DM for details. All leases are ON FARM only.

Thanks to Jill Hutchinson for sharing this wonderful photo of her daughter Faith with Argon, at Faith’s first sanctioned horse show last weekend.

Together, they achieved their first qualifying score for Regionals! Special thanks to Lauren Perreault for allowing Faith to ride beautiful Argon.

Growing dressage barn in Aiken SC looking for a barn manager/assistant trainer.

My program is growing and I can't keep up with it all anymore! Lovely farm with all the amenities located in the heart of the Aiken 302 corridor. Position would include working with and overseeing staff, helping to keep track of horses and appointments and maybe helping me find where I set down my phone or coffee. 😂 Daily interaction with my lovely (respectful) clients , handling for vet/farrier/massage/chiro/general pampering.

Horses range from foals to geriatrics, and everything in between. We offer specialized boutique care: mostly because I can't help myself, rather than because the horse owners insist 😉. We have a super fun group of riders that range from kids to kids at heart. We frequently attend local shows and also travel to shows.

This position includes on-site housing, lessons, a stall for your horse and yes — pay!

I am a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist — but still an event rider at heart, so we are serious but know how to have fun.

Applicant should be self motivated, capable of making decisions in stressful situations, and a team player. Some days are hard but on other days we take down time. Experience in this type of position is required; however, I'm very willing to teach skills that may be new to you. Work life balance is very important and I take it seriously. We give two (assigned) days off per week.

If you’re interested in joining our team, please email me at [email protected]
