As we get down to our final two weeks with this great group of dogs, the handlers are enjoying the fruits of their hard work! Training gets more fun as their foundation behaviors become well-learned. The sun's out and the dogs are enjoying fun leash work relays and recall challenges in the training yard.

The adoption committee has been going through applications and they've received a few more in the past few days to add to the pile. Next come meet and greets and final selection. If you've been thinking about applying, don't wait! The clock is ticking!

We are down to the last weeks of our prison pups' journey in the Pawsitive Dog Prison program! Applications are open and they are rolling in. If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful dogs, it isn't too late! It isn't first-come, first-considered. All adoption applications are reviewed by the adoption committee to make the very best match for each special dog. The week before graduation day, the top contenders will be contacted to schedule an in-person meet-and-greet with the family's members and any pets who also need to give their final approval.

No matter how carefully matches are made, occasionally things don't work out. Your application will be kept on file, and you could still be contacted after graduation day.

Good Gravy! What a sweetheart. His training is coming along wonderfully. He has shown some caution with new people, but he is learning that the world is full of new friends and that he is safe.
