Show us your prison pups! Let's see how many prison pup families are out there!

This is Ellie, then and now. Ellie graduated from Session 3, the Winter session, spending Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's at Airway Heights, 2012-2013. Ellie is quite a few years older now, but she still chases all the squirrels and is still in charge of the house. She brightens the days of Prison program trainer Carol from Diamonds in the Ruff and she enjoys getting to come back to the prison for visits to help teach classes between sessions!

You can direct message your photos to the page for us to post for you, or comment directly on this post if you'd like. Thank you for giving our prison pups, those past and present, a second chance at a new life!

Liza is having a blast in her new home! "The other dog is her new brother Blink. Blink was supposed to be part of session 27, but somebody came and adopted him and then brought him back the next day and then my friend swooped in and adopted him!!!" Two lucky SpokAnimal dogs!

"Danny is doing great and getting used to his cat siblings 🐱 He does have some mild separation anxiety, so we have a vet appointment today to talk about medication and a training evaluation next week. I am so lucky to have him ♥️ He also got a Christmas Pup Cup which he now expects every time he is in the car!"

Follow-up! Karma is fitting in great with her new family! They wanted us to be sure to let her trainers know that they can see all the excellent care and love they gave her.

It was so heartwarming to see Karma crawl up her new dad's chest and lick his chin when they picked her up on graduation day. 🥰

Each of our Session 28 graduates wore a lovely plaid bandana which were handmade especially for our prison pups and donated by Denise Moore to take home on graduation day. This is the second session that she has made bandanas for our graduating class! Thank you, Denise!

I wish we'd gotten this amazing trick on video. It was a story, written by her handlers about meeting Mary (now Karma). It was a succession of several tricks as they narrated the story and took turns cueing each trick.

It's too bad we didn't have video with good sound. Jilly (now Millie)'s trick was SING!

Sweet Liza with her handler at graduation. She has a couple of meet and greets scheduled, but if you are still interested in giving this great little dog a home, it might not be too late to put in an application! She's the only prison pup who didn't have a family anxiously waiting to take her home today.
