With these crazy hot streaks lately, please watch your dogs and outside pets carefully so they don't get overheated. They can get heat stroke just like people. Do NOT allow your dog to drink a large amount of water at one time. Small amounts of water is best to prevent your dog from bloating and contributing to any additional problems that could occur. Allowing your pet to run into the lake to cool off might sound like a great idea, but they often drink to much water which causes them to bloat. If you suspect your pet might have heat stroke, please call your local veterinarian.
