We are going to be announcing a few adoption events in the next week to find the rest of our babies homes! We have 15 left in need of homes with more getting adopted each week (yay!). Their upkeep continues to be a large expense as we work on closing and we and the rescue partner could use help in that department. If you can donate towards food, litter, and supplies (it’s tax deductible!) the kitties could use the help!

I lost my Winnie boy today. The rescue field is rough and I need to take a step back for my own health and wellness. That being said, we will be shuttering Whiskers operations effective immediately. We will be open for limited hours each week as we find homes for our remaining cats. Our lease isn’t up until May of 2025, but after that I will be taking time off to care for myself.

Thank you all so much for supporting us these last two years.

We will be closed today. I live within a block of the huge chemical fire in Akron and will be evacuating my animals to my sisters house. The cat lounge is NOT within this radius so our in house kitties are safe.

Winnie is here and that means….we are open all day!

We are going to remain closed until at least Friday when Mr. Winnie is home. He had his bigger surgery yesterday and did awesome. The vet said everything went as well as it could. He’s been clearned to hang out with us in the non-cat side of the lounge as he heals so be sure to stop by and say hi to the little miracle kitty 🐈‍⬛

Hey all,

My cat is critically I’ll at metropolitan animal hospital right now. Needless to say, we will not be open tomorrow. Cat care tech, Gracie will be here taking care of the babies but I won’t be able to physically open the store, not with the baby who inspired everything so sick.
