They require a lot of time and money and patience. If you don't have those then please do not get a pet or give your child a pet, especially for Christmas. The shelters become overfilled with animals in need of loving homes.

But why not support and brag about local baddies trying to get the piece of the pie? Going out of their comfort zone to meet new people everyday. Spending money they don't have on numerous failed attempts. Just trying to make it in this crazy world because they want or need to work for themselves instead.
