Happy Saturday everyone, and sorry in advance for the long post..
We just wanted to take a minute and address some issues we’ve been experiencing in the salon as of late and some things that will be taking effect immediately.
There have been some instances lately where clients have been dropping dogs off late/ leaving dogs all day/not picking up in a timely manner after your groomer has called to inform you your dog is ready and with no consequences.
We understand that things can happen and that’s ok. What we ask though, is better communication in those instances.
Here’s our new policy regarding those issues listed above.
1. If you are 15 mins or later for your appointment, be prepared to be sent home. Our time is valuable and you should treat it as such. It will be at the groomers discretion if they will take you or not based on that days schedule. By you showing up late, you have set them behind for the entire day.
2. When your groomer calls you to pick your dog up after grooming, unless you’ve arranged it with your groomer for a specific pick up time, you will have 1 hour to pick up your dog. If you are not at the salon within 1 hour after the initial pick up call you will be assessed a $10 late fee for every 30 mins past your 1 hour time frame. We are not a doggie daycare. We do not have space for your dog to sit in a kennel until it’s convenient for you to pick them up nor is it fair to your dog. (Reasonable exceptions can be made, please discuss with your groomer at drop off.)
3. Our hours on Saturday are as follows for those that do not know. 8am-2pm. That doesn’t mean 2:30 or 3:00. That’s 2pm. If you cannot be there before 2pm, make arrangements for someone else to pick up, or simply pick another day.
Sorry we have to implement these rules, but there are a few that have ruined it for all others. As always we thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing all of you and your furry friends in the near future!
