I found these roses behind the old garage running wild. They are probably remnants of a garden from the family who farmed here in the mid to late 1900s.

I meant to post this yesterday but the typical life at the barn got in the way. One horse left to go to training, a new boarder came in, the weather turned bad and the horses needed to come in early.

So, December 1 was the third anniversary if my taking over the barn. I want to thank all those who have helped me make it this far. You know who you are!

Have you made your winter riding plans? We have a huge indoor arena with new footing perfect for staying warm and dry while you ride!

We are a boarder-centric barn. No public lessons, no screaming kids (or parents). Plenty of space for tack and equipment. Horses are turned out daily as weather permits in semi-private paddocks. We feed hay throughout the day and grain (Nutrena) at breakfast, dinner (and night check if necessary). Stalls cleaned daily.

Here's our website with a video of the facility: www.newsteadequestrian.com

For a tour of the facilities, please contact us via a PM or call the barn at 716-542-3064

Due to bad air quality from the Canadian wildfires, the horses are all inside today.

And it's predicted to be even worse on Thursday!!! Horses will once again be in. Boarders, if you can get here, please do so as your horses need a little love and attention.

The majority of a "safety fence" is installed. This will keep horses who get loose from running directly out to Route 93. Route 93 is quite busy with semi trucks and the speed limit is 55 mph. We work hard to ensure everyone stays safe!

The new footing is in! It has Lilly's seal of approval.

Thank you to Cody who worked tirelessly to spread and level the 40 plus yards of special sand.
