$850 includes the cost of the piglet, the feed & care over 6 months and delivery to Weaver's Meat Processing in Hartselle, AL

$800 if paid in full by July 1, 2024

Payment Plan as follows: $250 July 1st, $200 August 1st, $200 Sept 1st & $200 Oct 1st

This pricing DOES NOT include payment to the butcher. Pricing for that can range anywhere from $135 for 1/2 pig to $550 for a whole pig based on specialty meats & cuts you choose. We will be happy to help you with filling out a cut sheet.

Half of a pig yields AN AVERAGE of 100lb bring home meat.

There is $100 delivery option available if you cannot arrange pick up of your pork.

A deposit by July 1st secures your pork.

He comes from a phenomenal sire at Southern Reds in Gainesville, Texas. He has adapted well to West Alabama and is one of the more slick hided Red Angus you will find. He has sired several calves on our farm from Heifers and they all calved flawlessly.

We are working on this year's pastured pork numbers. Every person that purchased a half or whole has been thrilled with what they've received. If you want real, local pastured pork; here it is. It's not cheap. It takes time. But the two littles and myself just ate a whole pound of bacon and I'm not even embarrassed to say so. 😏
We will have 14 spots for whole pigs. Let me know if you want to chat.

A double rainbow appeared from GOD today. Little reminders appear at just the right time to remind us who we serve. GOD is eternal, Jesus saves and the Holy Spirit convicts. The rain is much appreciated also and hopefully the grass grows tall and the cows stay fat.

Old Cypress Farms is proud to announce the sale of our herd bull. RCF 7797 is a Fullblood South Poll bull originally from Rock Creek Farm in North Alabama. He’s 5.5 years old with an extremely calm demeanor and throws moderate to low birth weight calves (50-60 lbs). He’s heifer safe and an easy keeper on forage inputs. He’s around 1600 lbs and is hot wire trained. He’s safe around new born calves and loves the ladies.

He’s been great for us over the past few years but we’ve kept some of his daughters and we need him to go to work for someone else.

All BSE and Trich tests have been performed and he’s ready for a new herd.

I can send photos and videos of his sons and daughters upon request.

OCF 2104 is a registered 50% Southpoll x Red Angus Bull. Born on August 29th 2021. His sire is RCF 7797, a Fullblooded Southpoll Bull from Rock Creek in North Alabama and his dam is a beautiful Red Angus Cow from Southern Red Cattle in Gainesville, TX. His BSE and Trich tests are complete and he is ready for a herd of his own.

He’s been raised on a forage based diet only, as gentle as they come, and will make very nice beef and replacement stock as he posses awesome traits from SP & RA genetics.

The bulls are getting BSE and Trich tests done today. Y’all stay tuned... 2 Awesome bulls are about to hit the market. The older bull is a full blooded South Poll bull from Rock Creek Farms. The younger bull is his son and out of a nice Red Angus Cow from Southern Red Cattle in Texas.
