Meet Reba! #ART rescued this old blind gal last Sunday from the Euclid Animal Shelter and she’s doing well! She was found wandering on a busy road and never claimed. We could not look away! #nolookingback She will see our vet for a consultation with a senior blood panel, and to discuss a treatment plan, potentially surgical removal, of her remaining eye. Reba saw a veterinarian while at the shelter, who despite her poor physical condition, saw a quality life still yet to live. We agree completely. She does not let her lack of sight stop her from exploring her world. Her nose is always on the ground, constantly sniffing. And she eats! Boy does she enjoy the amazing food supplied to us by Hollywood Feed - Akron Fairlawn! Meet Tippy! The sweetest old lady! Tippy was left at the Richland County Dog Warden's Office & Shelter after hours last week. Their incredible network of volunteers (Thank you, Donna and Susan 💕) transported her to Akron today! A family member reported she had been her brother’s dog and he was homeless. Our prayers are with him and we know he’s comforted knowing Tippy is safe with us. Welcome to #ART, Tippy! #ART #puppylove Meet Honey! This little gal is likely a chug. 😆 That’s a chihuahua pug mix!! Honey saw Dr. Lisa yesterday and started her treatment plan with the first of a series of three vaccines. We aren’t exactly sure how old she is but we suspect about 10 weeks. She’s a typical puppy and so sweet. Honey has a preapproved family coming to meet her tomorrow. 🌸🌺 #ART rescued Ray Ray on Mother’s Day and we’ve been allowing his body and skin to heal from his most recent past. He can hear and see!! 🥳 He never misses a meal and prefers dry crunchies over prepared meals. He sorta likes humans! Especially if they like to feed, bathe, brush, and pet him. 😛 He isn’t overly fond of other dogs but he’s not a fighter. He may of been in his younger years but now he’s an old frail guy. Who likes to eat! That’s a GREAT sign. Stay tuned as we begin to address some of the things that are concerns, like his right ear. A dental cleaning every year, prevention, and whatever else is needed. For now he and the other boys are scheduled for neuters at The Great Life on June 11.
