I will be posting pictures of my cats here ;) I take care of the neighborhood cats and have been doing so for the last 8 years or so. I have an eternally open colony to any cat in need - whether its for a day or for the rest of their lives. I always try to take a picture of them to keep in their digital file. I track any wounds they get, their pregnancies, if unfortunately I haven't been able to
get them fixed yet, their feeding preferences, etc. I love these cats like I do my indoor cats - If I could, I would bring as many as I could inside. But unfortunately, I don't own a home, and I am actually renting from a friend. So, I can't bring the beautiful babies indoors. But we do take care of them the best we can. One of a Kind Pets, in Akron, Ohio provides me with a discount spay/neuter feral cat policy when needed. Being a Summit County Resident we pay only $10 per precious kitty. We are starting out with the females, and afterward will start on the males. We have 6 females (+1 newborn female) total, although there are 2 that I have no idea how we are going to "trap" to get them to the vet to get fixed. They are too smart, and I don't think they are going to fall for any trap...but we will see ;) And we have about 10-12 male cats. Although they are outdoor kitties, they are and always will be my babies. I love them all the same as I love my indoor kitties. One thing I hope to do with this page is make everyone realize that these cats are still living beings and deserve to be respected and treated humanely. There is a difference between feral cats and unsocialized cats.
