We can feel it! Can you? Fall is coming! It’s still in the 90’s here but the air was cool at sunrise this morning! There is something about change that can give hope and encouragement for the future. We are looking forward to pumpkins, campfires and flannel!

And by the way, this is a pumpkin that the goats grew themselves!

He is going to make some beautiful babies with his coloring and blue eyes. I’m obsessed with the blue eyes. Fun fact: blue eyes are dominant in goats. All the babies will have blue eyes no matter if the mom has brown eyes! I’m excited for some goat babies this fall!! He is the sweetest and the herd seems to have already accepted him! We love him already!

These lively animals are incredibly social and quickly become part of the family.

They also breed easily so if you have enough room you can quickly produce new litters to sell.

It’s important to note that Nigerian Dwarf goats do need to be milked daily, but with just a bit of work, you can quickly produce rich milk that can be consumed either on its own or in the form of other milk products.
