The Lotus Catfe is a cat lounge and yoga studio created by mother/daughter duo, Nicole and Skye. The pair are also passionate about creating a space where all feel welcome and free to be themselves. The yoga classes and the cat room are in separate rooms at separate times! A yoga class is $10 per person and a cat room entry is also $10 per person. The cat room entry includes a free single serve co

ffee, tea, or canned drink. We also offer card readings! We will be selling tarot cards, crystals, candles, art, and more!

We haven’t talked about this because we weren’t sure what the outcome was going to be.

Last Tuesday, we brought CeCe back to Greater Birmingham Spay/Neuter because her spay incision was infected. They noticed one of her kidneys appeared enlarged and decided to keep her a few days for observation to see if it went down or if she would need it removed. They treated her infection while she was there and built up her strength to have surgery again to stitch her incision back up. The vet had a feeling something more was going on and did an exploratory, finding a huge abscess in her abdomen attached to her bladder, kidney, and other areas. He did not know if she would make it. Luckily, she did. They believe a piece of gauze or something may have been left inside her during her spay. She ended up spending ten days with the vet and will need another seven days to recuperate before she’ll be back at the catfe. 🩷

SOS❗️ URGENT🆘🚨️ PLEASE SHARE😿💔🙏

LINCOLN, ALABAMA--Over 60 cats and kittens are in immediate danger, and need help ASAP! Many have already been tortured and killed by the "humans" that work near the facility where these cats are located. We have seen some of the graphic images. No living being deserves to be treated this way. We have been shown proof that Lincoln, AL's ONLY AC has known about this animal cruelty for years now taking place at this location--even shown the graphic pics--and said there was nothing she could do! Animal cruelty is against the law! Yes even in Alabama! Things have to change as far as the mindset in the STATE OF ALABAMA. We were just recently ranked 49th (Next to Last) in animal welfare due to lack of enforcement in laws involving animal cruelty. Alabama City, County, and State law enforcement officials need to do better! This is unacceptable! It only gets WORSE every year! And after the graphic pics we were recently shown of the PELL CITY ANIMAL CONTROL CENTER the "shelter" where they would go may sadly be no better. I honestly don't know what the answer is. We are a very small rescue, but have been given only a weeks time before the remainder of the cats are tortured and killed. PLEASE any larger rescue or animal welfare organizations that may be able to assist please reach out to us️😿💔🙏🆘️

Gossamer is such a sweet girl. She does not seem to mind other cats—she may growl and stay to herself for a while, though. She also loves to play! It will definitely take time for her to open up, but as you can see in the photo, she is loving once she does. Julius is on the shyer side, but he is such a good boy! He has no issues with the other cats, loves to be pet, and doesn’t seem to mind being picked up(although he is a lil chonk so it’s not super easy). You will most likely find him minding his business in a corner or under the furniture.
