I have several lesson horses for very beginner up to jumping courses. We attend horse shows every month and our riders have won many championships and year end awards. Private facility owned for over 15 years. We also offer boarding and leasing options.

Thank you to to Naomi and Reagan for hosting our summer camp pool party! Everyone had an amazing time and the food (especially the ice cream bar!) was fantastic.
Imagine youāre assigned a partner project in school. Only one of you gets to read the directions for the assignment, and then you have to explain it to your partner in a language that is secondary to both of you. Youād expect some miscommunications and misunderstandings, right?
Thatās basically whatās happening while riding a horse. Whether in a lesson or a ride of your own direction, you as the rider are the only one who knows the assignment. Itās then your responsibility to relay that information to your horse, speaking through intention and cues that are a second language to both you and your horse. Your horse doesnāt understand what your trainer is saying heās supposed to do - heās relying on you to tell him.
Keep this in mind any time youāre riding and you feel like your horse isnāt listening, or you get frustrated with a missed distance or a sloppy transition. Remember that youāre the only member of this team who knows the assignment, and your horse is relying on you to tell him the game plan. Sometimes we make mistakes in our cues or our timing, we start thinking too many steps ahead or we forget to clue him into the next movement in time. Sometimes the horse is a little distracted, or tired, or not feeling it today. But most of the time, heās doing his best he can with the information youāre giving him!
Horse camp day 4. These two tied for the win in the āride a buckā game. I tried to break the tie with jumping a line of crossrails and they both held on to their dollar.
The kids were so funny when I told them the name of the game - they took ride a buck very literally - they thought they were going to ride the horses while they bucked š¤£. And me being me, played along all morning until we started the game.

Some were more adventurous than others exploring the soon to be pond.
The girls gave the ponies a short break and jumped on foot for a bit. Loved hearing them cheer each other on!
One of my students had an unfortunate dismount when her and the horse had different ideas on which way to turn. Instead of getting upset about it she got back on and finished her weekend in the ribbons. And then she went home and made this masterpiece š. I love it!!!
Someone š wanted to carry the lunge whip herself today š. Thank goodness for saintly ponies!

Great weekend at HSITP! We won lots of ribbons but we had so much fun outside of showing as well!
Toilet paper race champions... actually the only successful pair to even get past the start, lol.
We had a great day at HSITP Show yesterday. Due to heavy rain, like most shows in Florida, the show was cancelled today. Riders are counting down to the next show in March. Thanks Jeanne Winslow for another great show!
Finally got this put together. These are our last two shows of this year at Horse Shows In The Park. Thanks so much Jeanne, everyone had a fabulous time! Canāt wait for the banquet next weekend!

Just finished this video for Brooklynn because she is going to take a lesson in LONDON at the QUEEN'S PALACE! We wanted them to see where she was so they could pair her with an appropriate pony. Can't wait to see pics and hear all about it!!!
