Dia De Los Mu***os - Day of the Dead - is a celebration where it is believed the passageway between the real world and spirit world is open so our deceased loved ones can come back to visit us. This includes our pets, of course! At Alameda See Spot Run this October, we honor the pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge with our special window display. Feel free to bring in a photo of your departed and their favorite toy, leash or momento as an enticement to return. We will gladly add it to our window as a reminder that life is eternal and the presence of the deceased loved one is everlasting.

We are excited to announce that we have 3 groomers! Fae joined us from a grooming salon in Castro Valley. She has 3+ years of experience and loves her job working with dogs of all sizes and breeds. We also have Krystian who has been grooming for 12+ years and he GROOMS CATS! His calm personality helps our fury customers feel safe and comfortable. Kelly is our resident expert and our beacon of light that continues to groom many dogs that live on the island. At Alameda See Spot Run we will be celebrating Dia de los Mu***os or Day of the Dead. Dia de los Mu***os is traditionally celebrated on the 1st and 2nd day of November, but we will honor the tradition for the month of October. We will build altars and collect pictures of pets that have passed to keep their memory alive.
If you would like to add a picture of your beloved pet who has passed, you can bring it to the store in a frame with your name and phone number on the back starting Sep 20th. We will display and hold the pictures for you to pick them up after November 2nd.

Alameds's See Spot Run continues its collaboration with for on-going dog training at our store beginning JUNE 3rd, 2023.

Each course consists of five consecutive Saturday sessions with lots of instruction and playful, hands-on exercises for dogs and their people taught by professionals with Proper Pup.
