Bricks make great holiday gifts! Find out why!
Did you know bricks are all the rage this holiday season? At least they are in Alameda! There's no better way to say "I care about animals, FAAS, AND you" than by giving someone the gift of a brick!
These aren't just any bricks. They're personally engraved to commemorate a loved one (human or pet) of your choice, or you can have them engraved with your name or your business's name. The bricks will help fund the FAAS Animal Medical Services & Training (FAMST) campus, slated to open this spring. They'll be displayed in attractive outdoor patio/garden areas at the campus.
FAMST will help lift us out of a spay/neuter crisis that's gripping the nation, with onsite spay/neuter services and other essential veterinary care from a devoted medical team. If you'd like to be part of this project for years to come, head here https://www.engravedbricks.com/campaign/FAAS to find out how to buy your brick(s)! (If you're a FAAS volunteer, contact Liz Ordway at [email protected] for a 20% discount!)
Ho ho ho, Merry Brickmas! (And a huge thank you to star FAAS video editor volunteer Annie Wilson for putting this together for us!)
The Alameda Support Foundation's annual Holiday Plant Sale is this today! Be sure to stop by from 10am-3pm at 1250 St. Charles St. and find some wonderful holiday presents for everyone on your gift list. (Including yourself!) All the proceeds go to support the lifesaving programs at FAAS.
Two brothers and their beloved dog - a tale of hope
Brothers Elijah and Antonio and their beloved dog Titan are beautiful examples of the difference our Skyla Fund makes. Today, #GivingTuesday, is the most important day to help Alameda pets like Titan! Donate before midnight and your generosity will be doubled thanks to a generous match! https://www.alamedaanimalshelter.org/support/monetary-donations.html
Adopt Hudson! 2yr old dogue de Bordeaux / pittie mix
If you’re looking for a big dog that loves cuddling and snuggling (and dancing) Hudson is the dog for you.
Great with other dogs, loves people, potty trained. Hudson is working on his love/hate relationship with squirrels. He is a typical adolescent dog, who is mostly well behaved, but has his spurts of energy moments. He is incredibly food motivated, and will excel with an adopter who wants to continue his training.
Foster diaries: Hudson bedtime ritual
2yr old bully boy Hudson is such a ham. He’s 60 lbs of love and 0 inches of personal space. Huddy has his wild child moments but mostly it’s a lot of snuggling.
