We are looking for our first Santa Claus!!!

Please send us your resume, any photos you may have playing the part, and your required pay rate to our Facebook messenger. We would prefer to have someone located within an hour to 2 hour drive of us. However if you are not close enough to feasibly drive every night we are open to discussing how we can make it work for you. If you have a partner that works with you (Ms. Clause or Elf or similar) we would love to consider them as well.

This is our proposed work schedule for now but times and dates may change slightly.
Nov 27th - Dec 1st
December 4th- December 8th
December 11th - December 15th
December 18th - December 24th
= 22 days total

Wednesdays and Thursdays = 5pm till all guests are gone. We will allow the last car to get into ticket booth line at 9pm.

Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays = 5pm till all guests are gone. We will allow the last car to get into ticket booth line at 10pm.

Fantastic cabins to stay at only 2 miles from the safari park! 😍. Unbelievable attention to detail and gorgeous rural country farm.

The setting for the new cabin is top notch! It overlooks the pond, has a spacious porch with a perfect view of the sunset, and is in a great spot for watching the wildlife at Green Frog! Wouldn’t you like to stay here?

Friendly Reminder the park is open everyday, including 4th of July same times year round. Monday-Saturday open at 10 last car in at 4, close at 5.

📣👋Part-time job opening! Zoo keeper/gift shop attendant.👋📣

👉Must be 16 years or older with a valid drivers license. 🚗

🚨‼️If you are interested please send us a message💬 on our Facebook messenger with a resume attached if you have one. I will answer any questions you may have there as well.‼️🚨

Main priority would be covering weekend days (Saturdays and Sundays). You do not have to cover a single weekend consecutively if you do not wish to. We do require you to cover at least 2-3 weekend days per month.

Job duties include but are not limited to: Daily diet preparations for our walk-through animals. Feeding, cleaning enclosures, and daily welfare checks for our walk-through animals. Cleaning the kitchen. Picking up cups in our drive-through zoo multiple times a day. Monitoring our park guests while in drive-through. Cleaning, stocking, running a register, and answering phones in our gift shop.

All these job duties are performed daily by a team of 3-4 of your co-workers typically.

We recently got all of 87 Llamas and Alpacas sheared for their annual checkups and haircuts. The whole family came to help 😍. Our daughters helped hold the babies with hugs, while mom got a quick trim 🥰

😍😍😍Happy World Bongo Day! This is an international day to bring awareness of the critically endangered mountain bongo. This shy and elusive creatures come from the Aberdare mountains of Mount Kenya. We are so proud to be a part of the movement to save the Eastern Mountain Bongo from extinction. We have been happy to produce 4 female babies within the last 6 months with many more to come this summer, ensuring their survival on this planet for future generations 🥰🥰🥰

Green Frog has the most beautiful cabins and venues! Their cabins are a couple miles from the park and make for a unique experience! Dr. Freeman is one of the best men we’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and are lucky to call he and his family our friends. If you’re looking for a place to stay nearby, this place is fantastic!

If you’ve stayed at or visited Green Frog, chances are you’ve had an encounter with this gentleman. Dr. Freeman is the mastermind, creator, and all-around genius who planned and worked for the farm to be what it is today…and he’s still planning and working to make it even more extraordinary. He’s always happy to share with and educate visitors by bringing our rich history to life. If you’re fortunate enough to see him while here, take a minute to learn from him. You’ll both be glad you did.

The park welcomed ANOTHER beautiful baby sloth on Mothers Day!!!!🦥🤰 Mom and baby will be seperated from the group like the last mom and baby and be able to be viewed from a window off the back of the main sloth exhibit!

Baby sloths are rare in captivity and we have already welcomed 2 this month 😍😍😍. None of our wonderful success stories would be possible without our wonderful visitors who love coming to see us and telling all their friends! We thank y’all safari fans so much!!!!

The park recently has welcomed two pairs of twin Red Ruffed Lemurs 🥰. This species is critically endangered in Madagascar making four new additions a welcomed blessing 😇. The park now hold 18 Ruffed Lemurs making our facility one of the largest holders in zoos in the world! 🥰

We are just in love with our newborn baby Sloth the park had this week! 🦥 Being a first time mom, we moved her and baby from the group and put in their winter quarters to give mom and baby time to bond in privacy. They can be viewed from the back window of the sloth barn for the next few weeks until they are reintroduced to the group 🥰

The rest of the 9 sloth in our group are enjoying their renovated waterfall and pool 😍

Another friendly reminder, the park will be closed for Easter Sunday to give our family and staff time to enjoy church and the rest of the day celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus. We welcomed another beautiful gift of gods creation this afternoon at the park with another baby Bactrian Camel 🥰.

The park will be reopening, Wednesday Jan 24 due to the ice throughout the park, this is for the safety of our visitors. We want to thank all of our staff for coming in everyday during the treacherous cold weather and driving conditions!

In the meantime, here is one of our “Shepards” tending to his herds during our cold weather this week which reminds me of one my favorite bible verse.

Proverbs 27:23-24 “Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds; for riches do not endure forever, and a crown is not secure for all generations.”
