Thanks to all of your shares we have been able to return 2 dogs to their owners and get 3 into foster homes and out of the pound for a much needed break. Thank you all so much!

Wile E, our longest running resident, is currently in a foster home but he is still available for adoption! We have learned he is house trained. This guy truly is AMAZING with kids. ***URGENT FOR KENNEL STRESS***
This gorgeous boy is Graham and he just turned one year old. Graham is urgent due to kennel stress. Graham truly is an amazing dog outside of his kennel -calm, loving, walks well on a leash, just an all around great guy- but inside his kennel he jumps side to side barking at the other dogs nonstop. We have never seen him at rest in the pound, not even for 5 minutes 😢 This is not a life for Graham, and his kennel stress is only going to further deteriorate unless he finds a foster or adopter asap. He has been at the pound since August 2024. He was previously in a home with other dogs, his owners were evicted and turned the dogs loose leaving them behind. Adoption fees are waived for all fully vetted dogs. Intact dogs are $25 with a signed spay/neuter contract. We will happily cover the costs of spay/neuter to find these dogs loving forever homes. No pull fees for reputable rescues.

The past two days have been completely full with welfare checks and dogs running at large. We have 4 dogs scheduled for pick up tomorrow that citizens are keeping safe overnight. We will be over max capacity again tomorrow and this weather is just too cold to be closed to intake. Please share our posts looking for owners. If you need help providing adequate shelter to your own animals, please reach out before it is too late. We have supplies on hand. If you have been contemplating fostering a dog, please reach out to me at 731-663-5399. We will provide crate, food, vetting, and any other needs for our foster dogs.

This was the scene Sunday morning January 5th at Kate Porter Road just off of Hwy 152. She was deceased upon arrival. No name tag and no microchip. This dog and this kennel are unique. Someone knows who they belonged to.
