We weren’t able to save one of the seniors from last week due to advanced cancer, so we wanted to let you know we moved the funds to this little one with a fractured pelvis and luxating patella.
He is young and friendly and wasn’t ready to give up. I’m sure we won’t have enough to cover everything , so if you have a few bucks you might be willing to throw his way, he would surely appreciate it.
Did you know that black dogs have the lowest adoption rate than any other color dog in the shelter?!
This is known as "Black dog syndrome".
Common reasons why black dogs don't get adopted are:
1. Black dogs stand out less than lighter colored dogs in shelters.
2. Superstition
3. Many people are simply unaware of Black Dog Syndrome and oversee these dogs since their pictures aren't as "flashy".
Hopefully, with an increase of awareness, this trend will soon be a thing of the past.
These two girls have a reduced $25 adoption fee so they don’t grow up in the shelter. They have had 3 rounds of shots , rabies vaccine, will be microchipped with registration, and are fixed.
Please consider adoption today.
Please share them with your friends.
Please consider them for your rescue.

Our EOD ascmv puppies are doing better by the day. They got to live because a foster said yes to them. If you’d like to help contribute to their puppy pads and food, they’d greatly appreciate it.
Painted paws was kind enough to donate some of their extra crates that they are no longer using to the transport cause. It was cold and I’m a wuss, so I forgot to snap a photo, so enjoy a video of our puppers in its place.
One of our long termers also gets to go on transport this week thanks to another rescuer, Elena, so it’s an exciting week.
We are always glad when we can work with other rescues to accomplish the same mission.

Thank you Briana for the donation you made In honor of your mother’s birthday. That’s 111 vaccines in doggie math. I hope you know how much we appreciate you (and your parents and all they do for us and the dogs.)

When we came in we would plaster ourselves to the floor. (The smaller of the two ). She’s decided we aren’t so bad. Or hotdogs aren’t so bad. I’m up in the air on that.

We have had a stray Ginger at the dog building for years. Birdie has slowly convinced him he’s not feral.
Apparently, he’s become the leader of the Ginger cat gang and invited all his ginger friends over and told them it’s where all the cool gingers hang out. 😂
Sage made it to his foster family with A Barking Chance Animal Rescue today. And he’s giving them all day to stop rubbing his belly.
You know, volunteers get to play with cute little dogs like this every time they visit 🤣🤪🤷♀️
