Hi!!! I don’t really have name, but look at how freaking cute I am!!! I even have a tiny, discreet mohawk!
After living at Animal Control for months, Alamogordo Animal Hospital stepped in to provide a much needed 30 Point Inspection in hopes that someone would take me into their home forever.
I was neutered, given all of my vaccines (DHPP, Rabies and Bordetella) had bloodwork sent to the lab for a wellness screening, a heartworm test plus ProHeart (an injection that protects against heartworm for one full year), the tiny bit of tartar scaled off of my cute little teeth, a dental sealant applied (prevents tartar build up for up to 6 months), a f***l analysis for instestinal parasites, Bravecto to prevent fleas and ticks, and a microchip.
I got to go home almost 2 weeks ago with a person that said she was going to love me forever. Unfortunately, she couldn’t care for me due to unforeseen circumstances.
So, I am currently residing at Alamogordo Animal Hospital with hopes that my true, forever person is out there waiting for me.
Let me share more about me besides the medical stuff-
I love people!!! I kiss their faces. I jump on them a bit. I’m about 1 year old and 19 pounds soooo I’ve got a lot of puppy in me but I won’t get much bigger at all. I am NOT food or toy aggressive with people. I’m still figuring out this house breaking thing because my life has been in a cage for so long, but I do potty outside. I walk soooo nice on a leash. I respond to correction when I bark at the pigeons outside or try to play bite too rough. April Laskow, my temporary person, just has to tell me “NICE” and I will cool my jets pretty quickly. I’m not totally sure how I feel about other dogs. Some people said I was “aggressive” towards them but my April thinks that I’m just kind of pushy and want the attention from my fellow canines. I haven’t been live tested with another dog just yet. So a meet and greet would be imperative. Cats?!?! I don’t know because I’m some kind of Terrier Mix. Soooo, I may need some good solid training to live with the kitties.
AND- Selsa Villarreal, owner/operator of Lunar Clips Pet Salon and one of AAH’s technicians, is going to groom and bathe me this week!!!!!!!!!!
I’m telling y’all - I am beyond full of potential to be someone’s full time snuggle buddy, partner, go everywhere, do silly tricks, and love my person with every cute ounce of my body!
If you are serious about inquiring if this little man is the one to crawl inside your heart forever, please contact Alamogordo Animal Hospital and ask for April. 575-437-7085.
