Everyone meet Harry!
He is my next project for a client. Harry was found in nature and is looking pretty rough, so BBS is going to clean him up and make him look badass enough to be displayed at his owner's shop!
Today I made some progress- I finally got his horn sheaths free (last pic)! His horns are going to get a restoring treatment and with his skull free, I can get him nice and white!
Annnd now I need to find a good source for these because I can see a lot of sweet creations coming out of goat and ram skulls!

I specialize in Euro Mount skull processing, both with beetles and maceration. I never boil or simmer the bones I work with in order to avoid any loss of integrity to the bone structure and to provide the highest quality mount. I degrease utilizing the slower methods (taking month(s) vs hours), but the result is a clean, smell free skull that won't have grease spots show up years down the road. My whitening process is also gentle and does not require heating.
I have been processing and working with bones (both fresh and found) for 2 years and it has become a passion for me. I just love taking something from start to finish and feeling like I bring out the best in the bones.
I also may occasionally have art and jewelry available, as I enjoy incorporating bones in my artwork. I am hoping to start creating articulations as well!
