Happy August 1st, everyone! Today is not just any day, but the designated birthday for all our wonderful rescued dogs. 🎉

I want to take a moment to celebrate my incredible rescue dog, Star. When Star was fearful of strangers, barking and growling aggressively was her only way to cope. But with love, patience, a nurturing home, and a job training in the sport of canine agility, she transformed into a fearless and friendly companion.

One of the proudest moments of our journey together was going to the AKC Agility Nationals in 2013, where Star shined as a finalist! Her hard work and determination not only showed on the agility field but also in the way she gained confidence and joy in everyday life.

Now, at 15 years young, Star continues to inspire me every day. She's a testament to the power of love and holistic health in our pets' lives. She’s a big part of my "why" and fuels my passion to help other pets stay healthy and happy.
