Please read! I have continued to have people say they were not aware of our policies. MOST OF THESE POLICIES HAVE BEEN IN PLACE SINCE I OPENED! Please understand we have these policies in place to better serve each and everyone!

UPDATE: Reward now $1,500 thanks to two more friends of Albany Humane! Please help Albany Humane Society find the puppies stolen from our facility Tuesday March 19. That is our MAIN CONCERN. Revolutionary Canine has now graciously offered a $500 reward for the safe return of the puppies to our facility on Oakridge Dr, no questions asked. The puppies can even be taken to the PetSmart on Dawson Rd for a no questions asked drop-off. We ask that someone PLEASE do the right thing here for these animals who have no voice! If you have any Information about their whereabouts, please call 229-888-7387. All local pet stores and veterinarians, please be on the lookout for these pups too!

Hey everyone. What am about to post may not sit well with some but it is the cold hard truth and I feel I need to say it. THIS POST IS NOT DIRECTED AT ANYONE AND CERTAINLY NOT AT ANY OF MY CLIENTS! I am posting because someone recently reached out to me about a dog having behavior issues for grooming.

When you get a dog (especially a puppy)of ANY BREED you need to understand what you are getting! If you get a puppy there is going to be puppy behaviors that YOU will have to work through! If you get a puppy that requires grooming your puppy will need to LEARN how to behave in grooming. If you dog /puppy has long hair it WILL require brushing at home by YOU! And yes DOGS BARK! THEY CHEW ON THINGS AND THEY JUMP ON YOU!
YOUR/THEIR TRAINING STARTS THE MOMENT YOU BRING THEM HOME! YES IMMEDIATELY WHEN THEY ARE BROUGHT HOME! If not those cute "puppy things" aren't going to be cute for long! Once your dog has had at least 2 sets of shots AT THE VET find a groomer. No your puppy won't need a haircut but it will need to be handled and introduced to the "world of grooming ". DO NOT SHOP HOP FOR THE BEST PRICE! Fyi... grooming isnt cheap at least not good grooming! Your dog needs to build a relationship with the groomer. They need to learn to trust the groomer. They will need to go every 4 to 6 weeks! I personally prefer 2 to 4 weeks!
If you are having behavior issues DO NOT JUMP TO BUYING A DEVICE FOR CORRECTION! TALK TO A TRAINER! and again TRAINING is not cheap at least not a good trainer! If you use a device to correct a dog especially a young dog you are only confusing them and compounding the problem. Before a device of any kind is introduced to a dog for training that dog needs to understand the correction. They need to understand what they are doing is wrong.
If you are having issues and you do seek the proper help understand IT MOST LIKELY WILL NOT BE CHEAP and IT WILL TAKE TIME TO CORRECT!
So if you are getting a dog find a dog that will fit your life style (active or couch potato) AND financial situation! Your dog will need vet care,(shots spayed/neutered, flea prevention, heartworm prevention and general medical care) You need to feed a quality food! It will need to be groomed. Make sure you can afford all of this! Make sure you have the time for it!
So the next time you see a cool dog and you want one just like it remember IT DID NOT COME THAT WAY! THERE WAS A LOT OF WORK PUT INTO IT!

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone for their wonderful sweet treats, thoughtful gifts and generous tips we recieved during this holiday season!
As always these specail gifts are much appreciated!

We are open Fri (Dec 29th- completely booked) then we will be closed until Thursday January 4th!

2023 was a challenging year with my emergency gallbladder surgery in March, me having covid in July and being short staffed in September/ October but we have prevailed!

Ryan and Allison have joined our family as bathers and we are so happy to have them! Though they both have other full-time jobs and obligations they are dedicated and hard working whenever we need them! They both are parents to 3 children and both have pet professional experience! When you see them please give them a warm welcome!

We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year!

Hey everyone. With all the media hype about the "Mysterious Dog Illness" I feel necessary to make a post about it.

First off what the media is not telling you this illness has been around since 2022! This is NOT a new illness as the media is leading you to believe.

I spoke with my vet today about this illness. So far there has been NO reported cases in our area! His latest research (this weekend) showed they now belive it is a bacteria infection.

Yes this something we all need to be aware of but we don't need to panic! My personal recommendation is to watch your pet for any signs of this illness and call your vet if you feel your pet is ill!

DO NOT TRAVEL OUT OF YOUR REGION WITH YOUR PET!
DO NOT ALLOW PETS FROM OUT OF YOUR REGION TO VISIT AND STAY IN YOUR HOME!

Please know as a pet professional we clean and disinfect regularly and will continue to do so.

Hi everyone Donna here. Unfortunately the shop will be closed this week July 26th through 29th reopening on August 2nd. On Saturday July 22nd I tested positive for covid and have been in bed ever since. Though I feel the worst of it has past I am going to continue resting and want to make sure when I do return to work I am not endanger of spreading covid to anyone else.
Jaimie will be working hard this week rescheduling appointments.
