Offering puppy socialization and temperment testing, adolescent manners classes levels I and II, advanced obedience, agility, rally, scent detection classes, tricks classes, therapy dog classes and testing through Therapy dog International and Canine Good Citizen Testing through AKC. In addition, I offer private lessons and board and train programs for clients who need me to spend more one on one

time with their pet. I am well versed in all training methodologies including Koehler, TBTE, Clicker and E-Collar. I take advantage of as many workshops, seminars and conferences as possible and have studied with Robin McFarlane, Marc Goldberg, Tyler Muto, Blake Rodriguez along with Mark and Stephanie McCabe. I am currently a member of the following organizations:
IACP-International Association of Canine Professionals
NADOI-National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors
Pet Tech International
TDI-Therapy Dog International
AKC-American Kennel Club
IBPSA - International Boarding & Pet Services Association

I have trained dogs through the CHANCE program (Canine Handlers Achieving New Career Education) through the New Castle Correctional Facility. I have also been to Wolf Park in Battleground, IN to study behavior and training tips and techniques. I attend professional development conferences and workshops on a regular basis and keep up to date with the most recent training methods, tools and behavior modification resources. I currently own 2 dogs (Ginger-German Shepherd and Rusty-Golden Retriever) and 7 cats (Lefty, Branch, Cinnamon, Pumpkin, Starsky, Hutch and Oreo).

I have 2 puppy classes starting tomorrow- Sat, Aug 10 at Roo's Holistic Pet Supplies.
9:30-10:30 am- puppy manners 2
10:45-11:45 am- AKC Star Puppy class

Puppy manners is for pups 6 mo and older that want to proof current commands more. Adding in distance, distractions and duration.
Star puppy is for pups 10-12 weeks- 4 months that are learning commands. We work on handling, socializing, good schedules for crate and potty training and discuss solutions for jumping, biting and barking.

The weather last week was beautiful.

😂😂 Myrtle makes me laugh- NOTE- I will not throw the ball when dogs demand bark. I’ll find a ball, make her sit and wait and then throw it. All dogs need to learn patience is the key to all good things.

I started Rossi on the porch with 2 smaller dogs but she was very interested in all the dogs in the yard so we did 1-1 interactions and everyone is doing great. I monitor play very closely with such a tiny puppy. And sometimes she gets held and cuddled ❤️🐶
