This is Mika Grey, adopted on May the 4th this year. She is a shepherd mix (DNA tested) who we estimate to be about 4 years old. She’s very sweet, smart, and snuggly 🥰 However she is aggressive with my cats. When I called the rescue per contract, they told me to just rehome her. She is a special needs pup so I am not just giving her to anyone. Open to having a rescue take her, or a loving home where she will have the best care!

Mika had untreated mange for two years. Since treatment her hair is coming back in really well! She is allergic to beef and chicken. We feed her Kirkland salmon dog food and will send some home with her. She is currently on antibiotics for a skin infection that is almost cleared up, and she takes either apoquel or Benadryl daily. She gets medicated baths every 1-2 weeks and I have a full bottle of her shampoo to send with her. She will need follow ups with a vet until her skin completely heals and her fur grows back.
She needs a home with no kids or cats, or other dogs. She’s best as a lone pet!
If anyone would like to meet Mika to see if she might be a fit for you please message me. Or if anyone knows a rescue or even if someone could foster while I make other arrangements. Our cats aren’t eating and are so stressed out because she torments them so I need her placed ASAP!

Enjoying the early evening in a favorite client’s backyard. I look up and think “What’s up with that orange dude over there? He looks happy just to be a little orange dude!” 😂 What makes you smile like LOD? For me, it’s the opportunity to care for all kinds of critters, learn about different species, and give peace of mind to fur-parents while they are away. 🥰 🐕 🐈‍⬛ 🐠🦎 🐴 🐀

My neighbor found a tiny little kitten with its eyes not even open yet in front of her house today. I work full-time, so I am not able to provide the time and care needed. Does anybody have a nursing mom or would be able to help me with bottlefeeding?

Well, we survived the holidays 😅
Now we have some slower times before the next rush. This is a good time to find and train a new assistant.

I’m looking for someone part time for drop in sits and scheduled dog walks in Albany. Overnight availability is a plus. Later this year I will need someone to cover while my husband and I take a short vacation.

If anyone is interested please reach out! Must be reliable, detail oriented, and able to follow instructions. Of course you must love pets of all kinds! And you can’t be afraid of a messy job.

The saga of my missing website continues:

I tried to get on Wix to change my domain and couldn’t log in. It said the domain I had no longer exists (duh) so they can’t recover my web page. So my website is now lost forever! 😩
I am not technologically savvy, and have no idea where to go at this point. I have to build a new website.
If anyone in the PNW family knows how to do this, please reach out! Happy to trade pet care for a new site! 😉

WE’RE STILL HERE!
I heard from a client our website is down. I never received a notice to renew my domain. It seems GoDaddy “sold” my domain to a proxy company and now wants to sell it to me for 100 times more than the normal cost! 😡
I’ll be changing my domain name in the next week or so, but we’re still here and still booking for the summer!

Happy Spring, PNW family! I know everyone is anxious to move freely about the country again, and my schedule reflects that. 😁 Make sure you get on the schedule soon for your spring and summer vacations. We’re filling up fast!

We’re also still accepting new dog walk clients. 🐕

Due to the increase of gas/cost of living, I will be raising my rates. New client rates will be as follows:

Half hour sit- $25
45 minute sit- $30
Hour sit- $35
Overnight including daily care- $60 per day

Existing clients, you will continue at your old rate until June 1st. On June 1st 2022 the new rates will go into affect for all clients. Please call me or text if you have any concerns. I’ll work with you if you need more time to transition to the new rate. 🙂

All pet sits already on the schedule as of April 11, 2022 will be charged the old rate.

Thank you to all my amazing clients for being so understanding! And please rest assured that this increase in rates will be going directly to my amazing team! 🥰

Happy Spring, PNW family!
Two bits of news today. First, we’re busy! Our overnight slots are filling fast through the rest of the year, so get on the schedule ASAP if you need our services. 🙂
Second, I need an assistant. I’m looking for an adult female, responsible, able to follow instructions, attention to detail, with a real heart for animals. Mild OCD tendencies a plus 😉 Specifically I need someone able to help with overnight sits. Must pass a background check. If interested please message me and we can chat. 🙂
