Today marks 8 years since opening my doors. My most sincere thank you to everyone who has been with me from the beginning, as well as to those who have recently found me. I appreciate you all so much!

My boy Roman here would love to share with you all how great Erin at The Styled Dog is! He got a wonderful haircut to keep cool (and less muddy!) for the rest of the summer. Go see Erin for all your pup’s grooming needs!

A note for everyone to keep in mind for future boarding: play yards have been converted entirely to pea gravel. Pea gravel is smooth, small rock that is considered to be the best, safest option as footing for dogs. But it is possible that dogs may have tender feet the first few times they play on the new surface.

(On another note, this summer is booking up incredibly fast. If you have any dates in mind, sooner is definitely better than later.)

Make sure to check out and purchase some of Abby’s perler bead animals at The Hive, MN in Downtown Albert Lea. Abby is donating $1 for every animal she sells to our shelter because she wants to help the animals here! 🐾💖
She will be at The Hive on Wind Down Wednesday…stop and see her and her creations and Thank her for being such a caring and generous young lady!!

Effective January 1st, 2023: Boarding rate will increase to $30 per day plus tax for one dog. Multi-dog discounts and extended stay discounts still apply. If you have any questions or would like to know how discounts/charging works, feel free to reach out. Increased rate applies to all stays beginning 01/01/23.

Please also make sure to get your spring breaks date requests in as soon as possible. Spring break is filling up!

Attention to my loyal customers: I am already 95% full for spring break 2022 (~3/10 - 3/20.) Please keep in mind going forward that peak times will fill up well ahead of time. If you have travel plans, and want your beloved pets to be able to stay with me, you will need to let me know your dates as early as possible. I have had several families book their dogs in a year ahead of time for spring break, knowing it will be busy. Remember that I can take your reservations at any time and booking early is the only way to be sure I’ll have room. This past year was my busiest yet, with all summer and these recent holidays booking up about 2 months ahead of time. It seems safe to assume the coming holidays and summer will be the same.

I greatly appreciate you all and love your pets dearly. I wish I could see them all, but I only have so many rooms to offer! Thank you so much for your support over the years.

Clarks Grove area: keep an eye out for Austin. He was last seen near the Pour House in CG, near the vet clinic and trailer park. He was wearing a black harness and dragging a retractable leash. He has medical needs. Help him get home!
