🐾❄️: Albertville Animal Control wants to ensure needy outdoor pets stay warm this winter! We’re a wheat straw collection drive drop off zone and have placed this trailer in the police department parking lot directly behind City Hall and across from Albertville-AL Police Department.

ACO Hughes receives several concerned calls from the community regarding cold pets this time of year. If you’d like to donate straw, you can drop it in this trailer ⬇️ With the help of local animal advocates, she will take care in seeing it’s distributed where needed.

Should you know of a need, please feel free to contact Animal Control directly at (256) 505-9528 during business hours.📱

If kindly donating, please make sure to grab straw and not hay. Wheat straw can be purchased at any of our local feed and supply stores. Thank you! 🤝

There's a lot of positives and negatives in animal rescue but one thing is for certain - it is NEVER boring.

Last night I received a call about a feral cat caught in a soccer net. Bless it! This was one frightened and ANGRY kitty. But we were able to cut it loose and it shot off like a rocket. 😍

Thanks to Officer David Atwell for giving me a call. 👍

Good evening, all my Big Hearted, Animal Loving, Compassionate, Socially Conscious Friends!

It's that time again. This time we (Marshall County Animal Advocates) need 25 people to donate $10 each.

Meet Pearl. ❤️ Pearl is a sweet dog needing surgery right away. She has a pr*****ed who-ha. (You can see it if you zoom in on the picture of her backside in the comments.). Surgery will include being spayed. If we can raise enough money we will include vaccinations and whatever else she needs.

Teresa Shew saw her among dogs she feeds regularly and contacted us. So we've teamed up to get this sweet dog a better future! Can you help us help Pearl?

Albertville's downtown Guinea has a new home. He is now in a safer, more appropriate environment with other Guineas.
