Superstars are here!!

I am very excited about this litter. They were bred specifically so that I could have a pup from her. She had a litter of three.

The mom has been pointing wild birds since she was 6 months old. Definitely a natural hunter!!!

I’ll post some videos of the male retrieving, but his drive is incredible, and he’s a rockstar at pointing too.

Puppies!!!!!

I am so excited about having a pup from clover.

She’s been an absolutely amazing dog since the first time she was out on birds. Her first point on wild birds was a covey of quail in Kansas, where she stayed absolutely steady for several minutes while I stood and watched. Still smile thinking about that fence row...

Bolt the sire is also a hard hunting dog with so much drive. These pups are gonna be hard to beat!!

They will be ready for their new homes October 25th. If you are interested send me a message the pups will go fast!!!

Tikka made it home!!!

The last of the pups has been connected with her family.

It might sound crazy but I do enjoy raising pups and seeing them bring smiles to families. I work hard to have pups that hunt hard and have plenty of drive but that also are very loveable and obedient.

Then seeing those pups flourish is exciting. Especially when it’s with a college classmate from what seems like a lifetime ago.

I definitely enjoy the hunting community and the bond and friendship that seems to be so prevalent with in most of us who spend time in the outdoors. Even more importantly though is the bond so many of us have in Christ.

Thankful for our Creator who gave us the outdoors to enjoy and the companionship of a good dog as we walk the fields pursuing our passions.

Thanks to each buyer and definitely look forward to lots of pics of dead birds and big smiles!!!

Not the best picture but I had a chance to take a dog for a walk this morning. He is out of my second litter, hard to believe it’s been well over a decade...

I still get excited anytime a dog goes on point, especially when it’s a pup from one of my litters.

Hurry up grouse season!!!!

Just a little update....

Emery is very happy that Danalia is snuggling Nala now!!!

Willow, Fletcher, Daisy, and Kimber are loving life with their new families too!!!

So thankful for each of you that have taken a pup home. Sometimes it’s easy to only see the harshness and the negative in the world. Watching new families with puppies might be a simple thing , but just seeing tenderness and excitement in people is refreshing.

As I’ve gotten picture updates and more connected with most of these families I thought I should share with all of you.

If you can look at these pics without smiling then slow down for a second and look again. I promise you’ll see something worth smiling about.

Nala headed for her new home this evening.

I took her for a little walk with the big dogs an hour or so before she left. She dove right in the water with the rest of the dogs and tried her best to keep up. She’s got a ton of drive and thinks she’s ready for bird season already!!!

Puppies are starting to get their own names as they figure out who their new families will be.

Puppies first swim time!!!

I don’t know if they needed to swim or not but I know I did. Most of them got in the water and a couple swam right away. By the end of the weekend they will all be strong swimmers.

They are getting super active and playful. The next month of puppy time is the best!!!

We didn’t have collars on them but we kept the colors and numbers the same. Everyone has their eyes open and is heathy and happy😁😁😁
